This is the spot! Keep driving past that 'other' pizza buffet and get good, delicious pizza! If you're on the fence and even just thinking about stopping here for the buffet, DO IT! They even have chicken nuggets for the really particular kids!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment. It was my first time trying Pizza Inn Buffet, and I came with my wife and two boys. When we arrived, there were approximately 15-20 people inside, and the buffet only had four pizzas available, which were almost gone. I asked when more pizza would be coming out, and the staff assured me they had some on the way.

After waiting, two pizzas were brought out and announced. However, within seconds, they were taken by other customers, which is understandable for a buffet, but it felt chaotic and poorly managed. After waiting an additional 15-20 minutes with no new food available, my family decided to leave as our kids were getting hungry.

Since we hadn’t touched or eaten anything, I requested a refund. Unfortunately, the manager refused, stating, “I’m not paying you anything.” This escalated into a verbal disagreement, during which the manager made an unnecessary comment, asking, “What are you going to do, hit me?” I stepped outside to de-escalate, and my wife was eventually able to secure the refund.

Overall, this experience was highly unprofessional, with poor food management and unacceptable customer service. I do not recommend this location.

Pizza Inn makes some of the best thin and crispy pizza around but they are really hard to find. If you want to to get the same type of pizza you can go to Pie 5 (owned by the same company, they use the same thin and crispy recipe). I have not eaten at a Pizza Inn in a long time, and when my kids and I were coming back from a swim meet I remembered there was this Pizza Inn on the way home.

The decor and atmosphere probably has not changed in the last 30 years. That is not a problem at all. I like that. I give it four stars because, well, that is what it is.

The people were super friendly. I asked for a special thin and crispy with just a few jalapeno pieces per slice. They did it after only clarifying exactly what I meant, and then they did it quickly. They got our drinks, they smiled every time they talked to us. They made us feel welcome.

The pizza did not disappoint. It was the always great thin and crispy pizza. You need a different kind of dough to make this correctly; it needs to be denser. When you walk in, they have the flour bags on the floor by the entrance. You can see the different types of flour they use. Funny thing, this is really old school pizzeria style as a lot of those old mom and pops would do this because they needed a place to store all the extra flour bags. It gave it this level of authenticity (in a fast food pizza place).

I'm not reviewing anything else there. They had salads, garlic knots, marinara sauce and soft drinks, which is what I ate. They had other types of pizzas, cheezy bread, and pasta. I didn't touch that; as all I wanted was thin and cripsy. My kids had a little bit of everything including other types of pizza and the dessert. They liked it.

They get five stars for the following: tasty thin and crispy pizza done right, making my special request right away, being nice and kind to me and my children. This is a real family friendly place.

Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict you are, but if you eat dairy then you are okay. Otherwise, no. This is a pizza place. You get pizza with cheese. Maybe you can ask them for a sauce and veggie only pizza. They are super friendly and I am sure they will make it for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kids everywhere. What can I say?

I so wanted to give this restaurant a good rating. But I cannot. The FOOD (PIZZA) while tasty IS GENERALLY COLD unless grabbed right when it is placed on the buffet ( but even the "baked" spaghetti the other evening was cold, even right after placing on the buffet. )
THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE MAJORITY OF PIZZAS ARE *NOT* UNDER WARMERS ON THE BUFFET, **AND THE WARMERS IN PLACE GIVE OFF ABOUT AS MUCH HEAT AS A FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULB.***ie THE WARMERS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. And this needs to change. I wonder if this even meets health department standards.
THE SALAD BAR WAS GENERALLY GOOD BUT NEEDS MORE GREEN VEGETABLES LIKE CUCUMBERS AND CELERY. ONLY GREEN veggie besides lettuce and spinach currently is brocoli.
SERVICE THE OTHER NIGHT WAS VERY SPOTTY. Yes the restaurant was a little busy, but the service was not on par with other Pizza Inn restaurants.

Been a regular for 15 plus years and never had poor service as I did today. From the moment I placed my order on the phone till picking up my order the unprofessionalism of this employee today was uncalled for. Then after numerous times having to repeat my order I still didn’t receive it as requested. A paying customer shouldn’t ever have to be treated so rudely and unfairly.

Pizza Inn Buffet is a slice of nostalgia served fresh and hot! Walking into the familiar atmosphere instantly transported me back to my teenage years in Granbury, where Pizza Inn was a cornerstone of hangouts and arcade games.

The buffet still offers an unbeatable variety of pizzas, from classic pepperoni to more adventurous creations, alongside their iconic thin, crispy crust that sets them apart. The pizza and games after Friday night games.

What makes it special isn’t just the food but the friendly, small-town vibe. It feels like a warm hug from the past, where everyone greeted you with a smile, and the jukebox played those hits you’ll never forget. Pizza Inn Buffet has managed to preserve that magic while delivering delicious meals that keep me coming back for more.
