I went to this restaurant a few months ago for breakfast after traveling. The food was really good. I don't know what happened this time. Maybe the new ownership?

I ordered food off Uber Eats and have to say I wasn't too impressed with it. I ordered the Pancake breakfast, which came with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. I added 3 extra strips of bacon. I received all the food, but it wasn't anything that would bring me back. The oddest part was for breakfast, the "fried potatoes" were fries... in my opinion that's a little misleading. I was expecting "fried potatoes" (not "fries") as would be the normal breakfast reference for any Texas restaurant, but others may disagree. Also, the fries you can definitely taste the frozen-not-fresh.

All in all, not the worst food I've ever tasted, but doesn't give me any reason to return.

One star every time the restaurant asked me to confirm my order on my screen, as if I steal their food

Another business in America gone.Rent too high, cost of living too high, everything too high.
Thanks again for giving us a place to eat that didn't have alcohol and had a family atmosphere.

Breakfast here was… let me just say, interesting. The place was dead… like 2/3 people here while we were here. The young male waiter was very nice and attentive. The female was nice, but English was not her strong point.

The menu was pretty extensive. And I was happy that there was an option on there for me, since I don’t eat meat. I ended up getting the veggie omelette with home fried potatoes and grits: coffee for me. Luis got the eggs with two pork chops and home fried potatoes with grits: water for him.

The food arrived quickly. But I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that it was lacking any and all flavor. There was no seasoning on anything. I very rarely have to add salt or pepper to my food. But here I had to. Luis said that the pork chops were good because they were lightly breaded, but also no flavor at all. He also said the sausage was obviously cooked in the microwave.

The coffee was OK. But it could certainly be better. I had to add cream and sugar, which is also a rarity.

Lastly, the restrooms. The ladies restroom was, for the most part, clean. The men’s restroom had toilet paper on the floor, and my husband said it could have been cleaner.

All in all, we won’t be back. Just simply because of the lack of flavor in the food. It was just not good enough for us to return.

They couldn’t make a decent waffle it was barely warm and had zero taste no vanilla extract in sight. Eggs had a faint sulfur smell indicating they were a little older than what should be served to customers. Sausage patties were a microwaved rubbery mess, worse than McDonald’s. When we let our server know how bad the the food was he requested the meal be discounted and his request was denied by the manager and we were told to pay full price, I still tipped cause he was good at his job. There were flies alive and dead around the table, and the food was terrible and management wasn’t concerned with how terrible the experience was for their customers. I left almost everything on my plate except the hash browns which were the closest thing to decent with enough salt and pepper. For the record Iker was a friendly and attentive server, and I hope he finds employment elsewhere cause this place deserves to shutdown

If they are going to serve waffles they need to have honey, some people don't like syrup

Our waiter was very kind.

However the food here was very disappointing.

My husband’s chicken and waffles were very dry. The tenders appeared to be tenders that were straight out of a freezer bag…

I ordered the chicken fried steak and upon eating I noticed the taste was off. I started to look more at the meat and it was fried pork… We informed the waiter for clarification because I ordered a chicken friend steak. He went back to the cook and we could here the cook tell him it was beef…

We appreciate the waiter for addressing my concern. But overall disappointed with the food and how no one from the kitchen or management seemed to care.
