I am the Creator of a Mesquite Texas Facebook group. I asked what is the best restaurant for breakfast in Mesquite? Black Bear Diner came up but many voted 7 Mile Cafe as the best. So on Labor Day we decided to give it a try. Our waitress Hilda was very sweet and helpful. We highly recommend her. So we checked out the menu before we came and went over it very thoroughly while we were waiting. My take away from that is that it really is a very basic menu. By that I mean there...

My experience was top notch! Both my waitresses, Hope and Shantal, were amazing. They recommended absolutely delicious meals and gave excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant has its own barista station along with a cold-press juice station. Husband got an Iced NOLA cold brew and it tasted amazing. Honestly, I can't remember drinking a coffee that tasted that good. The smoked Gouda grits were phenomenal and super hardy. We could tell every menu item was made fresh in house. Will definitely be going again. Definitely a shining jewel in the heart of North Mesquite.
