Ribs tasted old both baby back and spare, they had a twangy taste and were not eaten. Chicken was cold. Sides looked and tasted old as well. Rolls given in line were hard. Fries came out hot but had lots of black pepper - kids thought they were spicy. Food was just subpar…will not be returning. When you pay $100 you want great bbq and that’s not what we got. Definitely not worth the $$$ spent. Will not be returning and would NOT recommend.

Alberto and his crew helped us host our grandmother's 98th birthday. The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming our very large group of 30 people. They were attentive and everybody had their needs met. Food service was great and they constantly checked on our party.

I had an amazing experience at this BBQ restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our visit enjoyable.
The food was outstanding — perfectly smoked meats, rich flavor, and generous portions. You can tell everything is prepared with care and authenticity. The sides were just as delicious and complemented the meal perfectly.
Service was fast, professional, and warm. Our server checked in at the right times, made great recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed.

1st of all I don't give bad reviews but this one I had to say something. Been going here for years and decided to take my mom out for her birthday which is also on Valentines day. As we were waiting for our entourage, a rat was living in the front stand. When my wife told the worker about the rat, the worker acted as if they knew about the problem. We all lost our appetite and walked out. A few others coming and going also saw this. I'm sure if there's one then there's more. I will be contacting the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. See the pictures attached.

We visited the Mesquite TX location yesterday (2/3/26) in the evening around 6pm. We were sitting on the side of the dining room against the Southside. While we were eating a large rat ran across the floor, next to the base boards, going from the kitchen area to the front of the restaurant. When we advised the staff of the rat, their response was less than useful, they couldn't care less, just stood around talking. Their response is highly concerning, it seemed they knew about the rat situation, yet they did nothing about it. We definitely will NEVER being going back to Spring Creek BBQ again. Do Better!!! So I like taste in my food. In my opinion, most the food has no flavor. Mac and cheese taste very plain, ribs taste very plain, corn tastes very plain. I understand some people dont like seasoning flavors so this might be for a specific type of people.
Also Banana pudding, 85% whip cream 5% vanilla cracker and 10% banana.... literally just tastes like whip cream
