I've been going here for over a year. The Trompo is magical.

The food was grossly overpriced ($20 for tiny tacos?) and the owners were drunkenly annoying customers.

Located adjacent to Rogers Place, this restaurant is excellent. A welcoming staff, well prepared dishes and a great atmosphere. We had the nacho chips with the three dips (superb). My husband the assada tacos and I had the chicken tacos. Both were very tasty. Great margaritas too! A limited menu but a well executed one.

We found Tres Carnales by accident when staying downtown and we’re intrigued, so went for supper. I have not had tacos like this, ever! Soft, supple corn tortillas, well seasoned Al Pastor and Pollo fillings with amazing salsas, all topped with fresh cilantro, radish, onion and plenty of lime. The recommended beer, Lupita Especial is made for Tres Carnales, and only served on site. Wonderful food, awesome service and funky decor with shared seating; what could be better? Not much!

The service was attentive and quick and the food was all very good. I got exactly what I expected. I will be going back again.

I wouldn’t get any more authentic food if I dined in Mexico. This place knocked my socks off for Mexican cuisine! The shrimp or fish taco, loaded fries. It’s all just, Amazing! Highly recommend

a co-worker of mine recommended Tres Carnales Taqueria. I found the food average and overpriced with somewhat small portions. the place has charm and ambiance it just didn't deliver.

It's such a cool place, with such a relaxing vibe. You can spend hours here just hanging out. Tried their tacos, and it was really good. People are so friendly too.
We came here for lunch during a conference. The food was great like always. It was fast, friendly service. The atmosphere is quite loud though. They had canned and bottled drinks but they don't actually make any. I also find the plates are on the expensive side. It was almost $70 for two, with 2 drinks, an appy, and two plates.

Wait time horrible. Rude staff and seems very disorganized. Food was overpriced for what it actually was. 4 tacos should not be $17. Chips and salsa should not be $13. Beef in tacos was dry and tasted like 5 day old stringy pot roast. Cutlery was dirty. I could have got better food quicker at Taco Bell.

The place was crowded but the seating arrangement was not clear. The lady who asked us in was super rude. I understand you are busy but you don’t be rude to others. It was loud and when I said I couldn’t hear what she said she made a nasty face. The menu was weird. There were two things for vegetarians. One with mushrooms and one vegan with sweet potato. That’s it. Not even bean burrito or tacos. No salad. NOTHING. I would not go again though the chips and salsa were very good

After having made enough trips to Mexico and Southern California beach towns I can and do confidently report that Tres Carnales definitely ranks. One of my best friends was in town from another province. My friend and I stumbled upon Tres Carnales and it absolutely made the week. This restaurant combines Mexican street art decor, incredibly kind and ultra-great service as well as food that is so good you’ve got to continue talking about it long afterwards, it all ranks!. As I sat surrounded by the smiles of people very truly enjoying themselves. I was transported to a south western, pacific, coastal boardwalk and experienced all the applicable emotions in accompaniment. I will be back, I love everything aboutTres Carnales, thank you and very well done!
