This place has really slipped, and I now understand why so many locations are closing. Many of the long time favorites have been removed from the very pared down menu. In my most recent visit, the restaurant seemed poorly maintained, with tears in the seet cushions and flickering lights. The service was slow, and they weren't even able to get the beer taps working properly in the time we were there. My wife's food came out a full 10 minutes before my own for some reason. The ribs were tough, and the chicken too. Bacon on the potato skins was under cooked. Highlights of the meal were the cheese sticks and the Mac and cheese. Oh, almost forgot, the "salsa" they served with the chips was clearly watered down marinara lol. Used to love Friday's, how the mighty have fallen.
Four of us had the ribs which were very tasty. The sides were all good too.

The food was good served hot but the wings didn't have a lot of sauce on them. They were dry fries were warm but the waiter did bring some fresh ones out. The waiter was fast and professional.
I visited TGI Fridays and had a mixed experience. The appetizer was great, but the ribs weren't completely fresh. When the staff asked how the food was, they could tell from our faces that something was off and kindly gave us a discount. I really appreciated that gesture. The sauce was delicious, but the ribs just didn't taste as fresh. I understand it's challenging to keep ribs fresh due to their longer cooking time, but it did affect the overall experience.
This location has an awesome staff they are very customer service friendly . The food was delicious and the environment was popping would definitely recommend!

The TGI Fridays in Mesquite Texas needs to close down. We used to love this place, but they have really gone downhill. We got raw bacon or fat .. whatever it was all over the potato skins we ordered and when we asked to send them back to have them redone they came back out and we're still the same. The waitress was nice but couldn't really answer any of our questions that we had before ordering about any of the dishes on the menu. The crispy shrimp that we ordered looks so good on the menu, but when it came out to the table it did not look anything like the picture on the menu! And it did not taste good either. We should have had a clue when there were only about four to five tables filled in the whole place on a Friday night at 9:30. The manager brought our ribs out and literally threw them on the table and then turned around and walked off. No "how are you doing tonight" or anything, just an ugly look on her face. They were also out of several things that we wanted. They kept bringing our dishes out one at a time with about 10 minutes in between each one. This was a nightmare visit and a terrible waste of money! I would never go back there and would not recommend it to anyone.
