The food was very good. The staff was very attentive and we had a large party. The place is not real big but accommodating. I've been coming to Mexia for years and never noticed the place. Now I know and will definitely come again.
Good for, good prices, good service. Can't ask for much better. I had chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and mash potatoes. My husband had chicken fried steak. Both were delicious. Their ranch was great too. Highly recommend
We live in Buffalo, TX, and the closest cat groomer we could find was in Mexia. We’d driven through there several times, but never stopped. We dropped our cat off and asked the girls there about a good place for lunch while we waited. Countryside Cafe was recommended. They weren’t wrong.
