“It is a delight to have Countryside Cafe in Little Mexia! Their food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. You won't find a better chicken fried steak than theirs anywhere! If you haven't eaten there you have missed out.”

“This was my first time trying this place, as I had heard a lot of good things about it.

I didn't know that this place had dine in, but the staff were very friendly and helpful!

I got chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was good! I then ordered a two piece meal for later. I tried a bite of everything in the car, and the fried chicken was on a whole other level. It was the best fried chicken I have had in a long time! I also loved the fries, as they tasted like the chicken. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Congratulations, y'all have earned yourselves a new regular! I will be back.”

“Just passing through, stayed at the Inn, and woke up to the smell of this place. Glad we decided to stop in. Service was quick and friendly. Tatum made sure I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup. Coffee was was good and hot. Kimberly was kind and offered awesome conversation. Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced. Best biscuit I've had in a long time!”

“We've visited here twice. It's exactly what you want when you think small town restaurant. The first time, we were more impressed than the second time, but we ordered different items, so the menu is a little hit or miss. I had the BLT the second time, and it was mostly bread. The service is always really good, and overall, the food is solid diner-ish quality.”

“Wow! We just spent the eclipse at Laura and Victor’s Honey Hole and it was perfect! First of all, they are 2 fine folks - friendly and fun. Beer was good and cold - didn’t get to try their food but I’ll bet it’s great. This place has a fantastic outdoor covered patio & bar and inside it’s roomy and cozy filled with all kinds of interesting things, including Laura’s ‘tins’ - especially liked the permanent band One Last Heartbeat?. Would love to go back some Friday or Saturday! Thanks again, Victor and Laura for the excellent company and a great place to watch the eclipse!”

“This establishment is BY FAR my favorite Buffet-style restaurant ANYWHERE!! I’ve eaten Asian food in different states for decades. I’ve eaten in L.A.’s and Houston’s Chinatown areas. I’ve eaten Sushi in Toronto Canada. Enjoyed Asian buffets in Las Vegas also. So when I state that GRAND BUFFET is the best. I don’t say that lightly. My goodness! The variety is staggering and everything is served at temperature and appealing to the eye. From cold foods, salads, sushi, hot dishes, and desserts , I guarantee you’ll love everything you try. This is my second time here and it is as good if not better than my first visit”

“Ever since I moved to Mexia I have been craving that hometown cafe/coffee shop. Coffee Cabaret IS THAT PLACE. My favorite on the menu is the Honey Melt sandwich and the toasted coconut iced coffee!!”

“Friendly atmosphere. Great place to sit for a while and have a beverage. I appreciate the many outlets available for phone charging, they offer both wall sockets and USB ports for your convenience. The restrooms are also very clean. A great Starbucks overall, will definitely be back.”

“When this business started chicken flavor was great, now it has same consistency but way too spicy for kids and pieces get smaller and smaller.Place is ok to eat during cooler days(outdoor only) but now is July/Aug and they don't even setup a fan for dine in customers.**beware when paying with a CC they add a $3 surcharge without notice.”

“This Taco Bell is pretty damn good. Although the time in the drive-through is a little longer than I’d like, the food is always hot, fresh and delicious and the window service at the drive-thru as always exceptional. I haven’t been to this Taco Bell once and received bad service, not once. The employees are smiling, but not too friendly, helpful, kind and efficient. Best place in town for lunch if you only have 30 minutes. Did I say the food was always hot, fresh, crunchy, and delicious? Regardless , let me repeat myself, the food amazing. I haven’t been inside this establishment, I always use the drive-through, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere inside or the cleanliness of the restrooms or the restaurant itself. BUT based on the outside of the restaurant, which is always clean, I would venture to say that the inside the restaurant is clean as well.”
