“Recently, we, along with some friends of ours, had the pleasure of dining at an out of the way restaurant that is truly a hidden gem tucked away in the small town of Hubbard, Texas. Polo's Pizza Italian Restaurant. Why is an excellent eatery in Hubbard? Why not! And if you take a few moments to look over their menu (online or FB), it is really an Italian, Mexican, Texan eatery that will delight all commers. From their great, and perfectly prepared medium-rear 12 oz ribeye/baked potato, to their lobster ravioli, you really can not go wrong making the drive to Hubbard and visit the fine folks at Polo’s! By the way, don’t let the “street face” fool you – it is a lot bigger than you think.”

“Awesome experience with a staff that clearly had passion for not only the wine they presented, but the process as a whole. Especially Andy, he made my day!! He has a great attitude and love for customers. I ended up buying an excellent bottle of wine for the road!”
“We stopped by on our way back to our hometown for a drink and snack. The card machine had just went down but the service was so warm and kind while we waited and they ended up letting us just take it free of charge to have a “Super Sonic day”!!! Incredibly nice and handled a stressful situation that was out of their control so well.”
“Imagine stopping in to see your favorite uncle except he also serves you great barbecue. Sherm is a southern gentleman and a nice guy. Great experience stopping on our way to Austin, highly ”

“Awesome waitress and food! The pork sandwich was quite good, but the fried shrimp was perfection, and the catfish equally good. The house-made sauces, especially the spicier one, were as good as anything I ever had in N’Awlins. The waitress suggested the baked potato salad and it was lick the bowl good. The slaw was the only downside to the meal, but only because in comparison to the rest which was phenomenal.Try the local beer on tap—absolutely delicious.Prices were reasonable, especially for the sheer volume and taste of the food.Fun signs throughout!”
“Good food, burgers are probably the best other stuff I’d ok. Love the honky tonk bar atmosphereKid-friendliness: Family friendly as long as you’re ok with smoking.”
