“So had a court appearance in Malone JP3 and had no clue where this was. I was going to be in Malone at least an hiur ahead of my scheduled time. Drove into this, blink you will miss it type, town and realized I was a long way from any food place. I googled and this place popped up. Went in, friendly woman greeted me, and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. She made it to order and it was good. Remember this is a bar/saloon but the food choices were more than I expected. It did have a salad option, chicken options, fried okra and something called cowboy coleslaw (I did not try those) but it was made to order right there. All in all it was a better choice than driving 30 or 45 mins to get food and come back.”

“Recently, we, along with some friends of ours, had the pleasure of dining at an out of the way restaurant that is truly a hidden gem tucked away in the small town of Hubbard, Texas. Polo's Pizza Italian Restaurant. Why is an excellent eatery in Hubbard? Why not! And if you take a few moments to look over their menu (online or FB), it is really an Italian, Mexican, Texan eatery that will delight all commers. From their great, and perfectly prepared medium-rear 12 oz ribeye/baked potato, to their lobster ravioli, you really can not go wrong making the drive to Hubbard and visit the fine folks at Polo’s! By the way, don’t let the “street face” fool you – it is a lot bigger than you think.”

“Sure wish that the cafe didn’t close early today because I do heavy haul wide loads. They didn’t even make sandwiches to put out in the cooler. I had to end up buying bread and peanut butter and a cup of soup just so I could eat something. I wasn’t expecting to go grocery shopping lol”
