Inside the restaurant was too warm. They allowed several buffet items to run out and took a while to replace them. This was 6:30 pm on a Monday night. The food wasn't good either. Even the water tasted bad, like it came out of an old bathroom faucet.

The service was great. The bathroom was clean. The food was ok. There was only a few things with name labels so you really just had to guess what you were eating. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The music was loud and very annoying

I am someone who never complains about food and I’m not sure if the cook was out today or what the problem was but there was nothing that was even edible the fried shrimp was dried out and so hard you couldn’t chew it… the sweet sour sauce tasted like soap, everything was cold. wasn’t anything that was hot . By far the worst Buffay that I have ever been to in my life and for two people it was $35

I’m from Buffalo, TX and used to eat at the Chinese buffet in Palestine, but honestly, it never hit the mark — food was cold, bland, and just disappointing. I almost gave up on finding good Chinese food in the area until I stumbled across Grand Buffet. This place is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Whether it’s the sushi, or classic buffet favorites, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If you're tired of the usual places letting you down, do yourself a favor and give Grand Buffet a try. Totally worth it.

CTM Never Give Up Giveaways
Best Chinese buffet in a 50 mile radius as best I know. We've tried them all and this place consistently provides quality food and a friendly staff. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot and Mexia is a great town. Recommended.
Selection of food is good because of the small town. Drinks are okay. Overall experience was good

Absolutely garbage. I've been around the states and this one takes the cake (sweaty and sitting out for hours) completely rude and the food, I mean if you're not used to actual Asian cuisine and are from the sticks, this is for you!! But the flavorless and soggy chicken. Damn use some more MSG or something... maybe make it fresh by the book. Then to charge almost 15 bucks per plate!?!?!? 😆
