The first time there. I was very surprised with the quality of the food. I don't usually rate Spanish restaurants because good ones are hard to find unless you're in South Texas.
This is actual Mexican food, not the stuff they sell at the corner store. Food tasted damn good along with some flour tortillas. Solid 10/10 for flavor, highly recommended the Bistek Ranchero.
Best place for what you want. Even have better burgers than everyone in mexia.
Kid-friendliness: Lovely staff who will gladly chat when they aren't busy. Don't get mad if they're rushing it's a small family but the food is ever so worth it.
Parking: Decent sized dirt lot with some rough spots so don't bring anything low or fragile.
