I was under my own mistaken impression and asked them for 2 regular chicken chalupas they had sour cream and tomatoes so I asked them to remake it without them and they still made them with sour cream and tomatoes

Horrible service on 12-4-2025 around 12:00 p.m.. It took minutes to even be acknowledged at the counter. Sure, it was the lunch hour, but I was the ONLY counter customer and the ONLY customer inside the “restaurant.” Once the apparent manager finally addressed me, I watched her prepare three more meals (start to finish) for the drive-through. The other employees were casting sympathetic glances at me while the manager made me wait well beyond what was appropriate. I walked out.

Some food came out cold (tacos and fries), while the quesadilla came out over cooked. They were out of unsweetened tea, and the mango tea seemed like it was almost empty. It seems like they were not ready for lunch. I would also like for them to figure out drinks at the kiosks. It is not clear if we should ask for the right after the order or at pickup. I wait for pickup, and they seem confused. Our one compliment was on the hard beef tacos.
Quick service. Friendly staff. Good food at a reasonable price. We try to stop here every time we’re in Mexia.

Went on vacation a week ago where my card was never physically handed to someone for use. Funny how we come back into hometown and this location is the only place my card was physically handed to someone for a purchase and I wake up the next morning with two attempted fraud charges. Don’t pay with a physical card here.
