The burgers are all awesome. I use to be a cook there and I love everything about the place.

I went to this place to get a something decent to eat on a Saturday night, only to be politely turned away an hour before closing time! Another group of customers were also turned away.

Please save yourselves and go somewhere else. Not with the money for a Luke warm tasteless burger. And it's got a stale bar smell.

Come here! Brunch is delicious! Chicken and pablano waffles and basin toast are great. All the food is good, but Trina is what makes this place great! Ask for Trina!

poor food and service! maybe would return for music and drinks only but not for food again. when I was pregnant we went and my food was moldy and staff was so rude I was pretty appalled it was even worse because I was pregnant so it sent me over the edge. Haven't been back since ! disappointed!

Found my new favorite, The Basin Cubano. It was great my wife and I were sharing and I kind of hoped that she didn't finish her half.....

I have had brunch here once before in the past and was looking forward to having it again this morning. I wish I would have just decided to go somewhere else. Online and on the door it says it opens at 9am in Sunday’s. I show up at 9 and am asked to leave that they don’t open until 10. I show back up at 10:30 and order the same meal I had the last time. This time it was underwhelming to say the lease. Avocado was brown, eggs were overly runny, bacon was basically bacon bits, and potatoes were severely overcooked. Such a shame that I was looking forward to coming here on my morning off to be so let down. Will not be returning. One hit wonder I guess.

From the moment I walked in the door I was SOLD on this place. Clean cut, 50's 60's theme dinner style atmosphere combined with lodge pub. Then I was presented a paper menu, but it was fun and clicky, the menu selections are awesome, the wait person for us had a bright purple fohawk, she was freakin fun and very pleasant, they were serving brunch but I am a s***** for brussel sprouts and they had a maple bacon bourbon recipe that I was dying to try, she went in back and got them to agree to make those to go with my burger. I ordered the Green Chili Burger. With Poblano and Avocado and a fried egg on top and paperjack cheese. As you all know I can be very critical of food joints and the meals I get when I am out and about. Executive Chef literally means: the eyes of quality and customer service in an establishment that serves food. So, to impress me at the door was a great start, to go out of your way to make sure my dining experience was awesome was an added bonus, and the ability to have a nice cold beer with my brunch burger is the topping on the cake. I haven't even gotten my food and I am writing a "check in" However when the food arrived I had the wrong burger I got the classic with yellow cheese, no avocado or egg, I called the server back over and she took it back and had them correct it, they didn't remake the sandwich, but put a slice of poblano pepper on it and then a sunny side up egg. Dropped my over all rating to a 3 star. Mistakes happen on a busy Sunday brunch, I didn't mind the wrong burger, the wait staff handled it right, the kitchen staff dropped the ball on this one. Fix it right = customer service.

Love the atmosphere and the menu items are so tasty and original. My burger was DELICIOUS! I love the oil rig worker mural above the bar, so perfect for downtown Midland.

The burgers are pretty good. Most of my the sides and appetizers are just "alright". The service is usually rather slow, but the staff seems friendly. Trivia nights are a good time!

We went on a Sunday for their brunch and food was ok, we were expecting better. The service was nice.

Ok, where do I start. Let's start with the pros. Pro: Our server Trista was excellent. She was on point with everything WITHOUT being overly attentive in order to get a better tip. A perfect mix of service and privacy. Cons: The brisket nachos. Though the chips were fresh, the brisket tasted like it was at least from the day before, and there was no flavor. If you are going to make brisket nachos, DON'T FORGET a decent barbeque sauce. The fries. The fries were almost good. They had a good flavor, however, they were soggy and greasy no crisp at all with a little too much salt. Fries should be crispy not soggy. Tip, turn the temp up on your fryer. Now for the burger itself. Although the buns were toasty and fresh tasting, and the burger was cooked well, I CANNOT give this burger a good review. The saltiness of the burger was so overly potent it was all we could taste. Now I under stand that a bacon burger is a bit salty by nature, but when making a bacon burger DO NOT ADD extra sources of salt, it will not require any more. Bacon jam though adds a nice touch of sweet it also adds more salt. The baconaise, well this is just going too far. Mayonaise would have been fine by itself, adding bacon to it just adds more salt. Or simply try using a better cut of bacon that cost a little more. With those prices you can can afford a couple of bucks more for better bacon. Maybe than the customers could taste the beef. Which finally brings me to my last con. The prices. For the quality of the food the prices should be at least 25 percent lower. Not to mention the hidden prices. The extra $2 dollars they charge you for each additional toppings and/or substitutions, that is not mentioned on the menu, at least not clearly. Summary: excellent service from at least one server which is why I gave them two stars instead of one. Overly salted and/or flavorless food. Overly priced for low quality ingredients.
