Well I was looking forward to dining here. I had a bite of my coworkers food and it was delicious. Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 9 PM and I arrived at 9:03 PM. I got off of work late, such is life. Hopefully I can try a full meal sooner than later. But the bite I had I’m sure it will be good so I will still give it 4 stars. Just know open until 10P but kitchen closes at 9:00 PM sharp
This is a great place for a meal and for drinks. Bartenders all know your name and what you drink as soon as you walk in…need I say more?! Food is made to order and tastes like home.
I’ve been coming to this fine establishment since 2009 and hope to keep coming here as long as they’re around and I’m able. It’s a comfort place for me with hands down the best caldo De rez in Midland. It’s also one of the few places in Midland you can get menudo during the week. Charlas has the option of a formal dining experience or a dive bar setting. They even have a small room you could possibly reserve for a small party. The bar is my favorite area to eat in.
