The atmosphere was quirky and fun. Our server was wonderful and our food was prepared well. However, it seems that they like to put bits of jalapeno peppers in just about everything and that was an unpleasant surprise. If we could get a non-spicy meal there, we'd be back.

I always enjoy time at Clear Springs. Tonight I had the grilled chicken, rice and broccoli. The portion size was good, the meat was grilled to perfection and the broccoli and rice were the perfect accent to the meal. Will definitely be going back again

I grew up in East Texas and LOVE Clear Springs in Nacogdoches. I was excited to see this restaurant as we were passing through. Our onion rings were cold, and the food was not of the quality that I experienced my whole life at the Nacogdoches location.

The food as real good. The portions were kinda small compared to the last one I ate at a few months back. The Service was good after I finally convinced them to allow my service dog on a outside patio that knowone was on. I would still recommend this place

There is plenty of parking. The place is clean and bright with a homestyle-kitchen feel. I was greeted and seated promptly. There is lots of seating, a bar with about 8 seats, and they have accommodation for larger families. My server Daena was a delight. She kept my tea full and checked on me often. My salad was crisp and fresh and my meal arrived shortly after. The servings were plentiful and it all tasted great. Checkout was at the table. The restroom was very clean. I plan to return the next time I am in town.

Had it a few times but this time. Ordered Fried pork Ribeye with gravy on the side. Came with gravy on it, friends food had plastic wrapper in their rice. Anyways 40 minutes later and my girlfriend and I are violently puking. Assuming it’s the gravy they smothered it with but it may just be the pork who knows. Either way steer clear.

Have this place a shot while in town for work. Started with a salad, it was good. Not great. Had the blackened catfish with rice and green beans. Catfish was very very good. Better than expected. Rice was good. Green beans were canned. All in all it was a decent meal. I will return to try something else.
