Cracker Barrel is one of my absolute favorite restaurants, especially for breakfast. Usually when I come it's with my toddler and the experience and food is amazing. The last two times my baby and I have came, we came with other family members for a total of 5 people, 3 adults and 2 babies. The experience is completely different. The service is much slower. Today, March 15, 2025, we decided to dine in as a family of 5. We were quoted 45 minute wait, which turned in to over an hour wait. I understand it's Saturday lunch, so it's normal. It was a little difficult with two hungry toddlers, but we managed. Then we get to our table. The floor is disgusting, it still had food and paper on it. The server comes by and takes our drink order and food order for the little ones. We received our drinks pretty promptly, then gave our food order. We received the biscuits shortly after, which was a life-saver for our little ones until their food arrived. It was a longer wait to receive their food then a good while to get ours. During our wait on our food, they swapped servers on us and there was no communication about it. Our new server brings us the food and according to my family, the food was good. Me on the other hand, was disappointed with the chicken and dumplings. I didn't see any shreds or pieces of chicken and it lacked flavor as if who ever prepared it made it hastily and didn't measure seasonings properly. The meatloaf tasted good, but wasn't that warm like it has been sitting on the plate for awhile waiting on the chicken and dumplings. As we were eating, I noticed plates and empty cups left on the table. That is my biggest complaint. Pre-bussing tables should be an absolute must. It allows the guests to have a clean table and move things around and shows the guests the server is attentive. It also helps out the busser and allows the busser to turn tables faster which in turn reduces wait time for guests. Im just offering some advice to help provide a better guest experience. Regardless, my toddler and I will be back.

There was a reason why we don’t eat here, the waiting time is horrible. 40 minute wait means over an hour. I’ll stick to smaller restaurants.

Ordered online, waited an additional 10 minutes out in parking lot. Food was cold, eggs were over hard instead of over medium and the icing on the cake? Hair in my French toast!

We waited an hour and half to get a table. Food took another hour and they didn’t have some of our sides that we ordered. Brutal experience. We usually love Cracker Barrel!

Went in before noon, no line still waited 30 mins to get seated. Wasn't a huge issue yet. By the time we finally got seated and got our food 2 hours have passed. Coffee came cold , orange juice tasted funky. The meal had to be sent back. It was chicken fried chicken cooked in some really dirty oil. The waitstaff was very friendly and tried to remake the meal but they're just gonna cook it in the same oil so same end result. So after 2 and a half hours, had to leave and didn't get to eat. First time attemting to eat here and it was a huge waste of time will avoid in the future.

Great spot to boondock for the night.(lots of evidence of birds south parking lot) Woke up for the busy Saturday morning rush. Host not the friendliest fella. After the cozy wait in the overpopulated gift shop, we were sat in the chilly corner farthest from entrance. Service and food were excellent, food came quickly for having a full restraunt. Clean restrooms.

We sat there for over 15 minutes and never got waited on or even acknowledged that we were there. As we walked out we let the host know we were leaving and he just ignored us as well. This just happened about 10 minutes ago and y'all are not busy enough to have to make us wait that long or been ignored the way we got ignored. We didn't even get to have breakfast.
