El Banquete is a small restaurant on the side of the road in Midland Texas, it is a humble restaurant but nevertheless cozy, their breakfast is good, I ordered a ham omelet because they did not have bread to accompany my eggs rancheros, their prices are standard, very good background music, its atmosphere is calm.
I recommend the Mo’s or an Asado burrito smothered in both the green and red sauce. Christmas as called in NM. It is very spicy most times. I mean perfectly spicy!This has become my favorite place. Everyone is very nice.
Came here for breakfast only, breakfast burrito eggs and bacon is good, decent size for one person. The atmosphere is nice, a little dark inside and a nice smell, reminds me how churches smell in Mexico. Ladies bathroom is decent, men restroom isn't that good, toilet area and ceiling need to be replace or fix, place needs a little more maintenance but other than that food is good, green salsa and chips very good too. Looking forward to go back.
