Fountainville Creamery & Soda Fountain

This place is dirty. I ordered ice cream with hot fudge & they put hersheys chocolate on it instead. Not worth the price that is charged, all of the items are basic and can be bought at dollar store.The dill pickles look gross as soon as you walk in. Tables are filthy as well as the table games. The prep area is nasty & staff is completely unprofessional. I guess this has become the standard around Midland, another establishment just looking to get over on the customer while over charging for a sub-standard product. Save your money, this place isnt worth wasting your money on. Business needs to do better. Clean your menu screens, they look gross.

Unlike other reviews I’m seeing the young lady serving was great not rude at all. Where I lost interest was as soon as I was handed my $8 single scoop in a paper boat like I was at a ballpark eating nachos. I felt like the one scoop of ice cream I got was just cold in my mouth with no wow. It lacked a rich flavor or any flavor at all. The person I was with enjoyed theirs though. Cute establishment.

When this place opened It was good. When I took my son this past week, it was horrible. Didn't have the basic flavors and had weird/crap flavors and it tasted disgusting. Just a let down. We never go out and this was our little spoil day once in a blue moon and it was a let down. And we had to wait awhile getting someone to come up and we were the only ones there.

Staff was incredibly RUDE. Spent nearly $30 on two sundaes & two sodas. They were out of most of their sodas and only had three options- one of which had no flavor syrup in it. When I took the drink back to ask for something different they had terrible attitudes. They also have nothing labeled but rolled their eyes when I asked what flavors of ice cream they have. Terrible customer service.

Ice cream had frost bite, the people working were really rude and were annoyed when we asked what flavors they had when nothing was labeled and they didn’t have the most basic flavors (chocolate or vanilla) tried to order a drink that was plastered on the wall and boldly letter to find out they don’t have that either. Honestly not even worth the time or money spent.

bad service and black gold ice cream tasted like straight frosting and didn’t even graham cracker and red velvet ice cream tasted old and spoiled.

Love the ice cream it was great but the staff here are rude and they not good at communicating I was so excited to go here but the staff just killed the mood they were also on there phones when talking to the customers. I wouldn’t recommend coming here this will be the last time I go here.

The ice cream is great. We had the chocolate, black gold, hummingbird and vanilla. It was all very good. They were out of cones. I wish there was better labels for the flavors. I had to ask what they all were and the workers were a bit slow. Over all it’s a good place.

Absolutely terrible service. They were out of everything and nothing was labeled. Went 20 minutes after opening and it was not clean. The 2 girls working there couldn't be bothered.

I was so excited to try this place. We saw the parking lot packed every night on our way into the hotel. One night we finally got back early enough and I really wish we wouldn’t have. I don’t know if we’re “spoiled” where we live with the ice cream shops or if this one in particular was really just a let down. Upon entering and stepping in line we weren’t really acknowledged or even explained anything. There was only 2 labels on flavors. We could also barely hear even when they did speak. When one of the girls was scooping our ice cream, the scoop and dish fell into another flavor. She asked the other girl if she should get it out and we watched the girl who came over reach into the container with bare hands and just grab it out. $22 for 3 very small cones. Flimsy dishes for those that didn’t have a cone. The ice cream was ok but definitely wasn’t worth the price. We’ll skip the next time we come to Midland.

Ice cream is always outstanding we had 6 take out orders that were just put in a paper basket not cups most double scoops paper cups do not keep cold like Styrofoam and not friendly driver said she will not go back for us.
