Had dinner there and my server was awesome. Her is Sierra. If you are ever in the area you should stop by and ask for her.

From the time we walked in the service was just horrible!!!! No greeting, requested a booth the so called greeter just ignored us. Then while waiting a half an hour just for someone to come over and at least order drinks, while seeing people that arrived well after us getting their drinks and food orders, I finally summoned a waiter to request to order. While he's taking our order he takes my order no problem, then it was my husband's time to order and he orders the Alaskan King Crab and the waiter says to my husband, you are aware the price for said meal, my husband says yes its not a problem. The waiter then says its $75.00 and we both said its fine. Definitely the worst experience we have ever had dining out!!!! Would highly NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Crawfish was a little overcooked and bland, so it had to be dipped in the sauce. However, the Dungeness Crab cluster was FABULOUS!
Will be back for those 🦀🦀🦀 legs for sure!

Me and my sister went to eat dinner tonight and we usually have bad service but tonight we had a girl who said she was new and she was so nice , her name was Nelly , food is always good and the peach tea alcoholic drink was good as well we will definitely be going back to sit with her

Not worth the money you pay for the portions you get. I’ve been to other Hook & Reels, and the portions were a lot bigger. We paid $250 (gratuity included) for 8 people. My son didn’t even get his own plate, and 3 of our people ordered baskets or sandwiches! That’s $35 a pop since my son didn’t get his own plate! It’s Midland, so I don’t expect good service anywhere that I go, but this Hook & Reel is definitely not worth it. You’re better off going to somewhere else.

Food sucked !! No flaver or spice to it ALL over cooked and rubber. Servers care less about you or the party. Sad to say should have done red lobster.

Ordered the Cajun Alfredo with shrimp on Friday and got so sick. Then my job ordered on 6/24/25 today and the 2 people that order the same Alfredo are throwing up and have diarrhea. We called to make the restaurant aware of the problem but the manager wouldn't even take the call! They said to take a Dr. Order up there! Smh I was just trying ro let them know the food is bad. Not recommended!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible service. My food was cold never got any refills. Also very disappointed to her the server I prefer to have not be working there anymore. I usually love coming here but I don't think I will ever be back.

Food is always steaming hot, fresh and delicious. Service is great. The atmosphere can be relaxing on non busy days.

Was in Midland for Grandson's ball game, always wanted to try Hook & Reel. We found one near our hotel.
Wife and I loves it, good seafood and service.
