Saw a not-so-good review tonight, and just wanted to say me and my group of 4 just had the best service tonight!!! It was piano night tonight so music was perfect! Raegan was an amazing server, despite her being the only one! Food was amazing! Would 100% come back.

Don’t waste your time. Our group walked in and sat down and was ignored by the staff for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. They came and brought menus and then didn’t come back for another 15 minutes we gave up and left, just disappointing service.

This place is an absolute gem! 🍸 Sergio is a fantastic bartender—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about his craft. The drinks were not only delicious but beautifully made. The food menu offers tasty small bites that pair perfectly with a cocktail, and if you’re in the mood for more, they also have a great full menu. A wonderful spot for both a quick drink and a full meal!

This place is awesome! My mom & I would always come when I visited town from college. Their menu upgrades a lot, but it’s always so good! The service is always amazing! Y’all have to try the birra egg rolls or tacos 🌮 Today we had Sergio & he was so good I had to leave a review :)) I wish my parents still lived in midland so we could hit this place up more often <3

Get some work done, socialize and have good food and drinks. Hoop and Barrel is a go to for me. Today my order was Steak Frites and instead of fries (which it comes with) I replaced it for a small portion of a ceaser salad. Happy to say that i’ll be back to order this. S/o to the bartender Laura, who’s been my favorite bartender since coming here. ♡
Hoop & barrel was an excellent place just to sit & have a couple drinks. I enjoyed the atmosphere & how polite they were. Definitely a 10/10 for a calm place to just relax & have a good time.

We have visited 3 times. Each time was the same issue. They are always out of half the food on the menu. Staff is somewhat friendly. Not the most welcoming environment. The last visit there we tried to order 3 different things on the menu and kept being told afterwards that they were out. Then my husband tried to order a drink and guess what they were out of it also. Asked for a cocktail menu was told they dont have one. We definitely got the vibes this last visit that our business was not needed or wanted. We wont be back. We tried 3 times.

I gave this place a couple of chances. But my final opinion is that they definitely need to do a little better in the kitchen. There was one other person there and we still had to wait over an hour for our food that came out cold and little to no flavor. We ordered some drinks that we didn't like so we tried TWO more different drinks and they still weren't very good. The service was great and they are always friendly. I love the vibe and the whole atmosphere. I just wish the food and drink matched everything else 😕 and it was also pretty expensive.
