Unlike other times my food was cardboard dry, brisket was dry, chicken super dry the only thing I enjoyed were the two ribs
Everything was good,Ive been here before,so I know how it works. The only thing I noticed was when she tried to put my tray with meat on the scale and I said hold on just put the meat on scale not the tray, the tray adds weight to it.so watch that.other than that everything thing on my tray cost 21 bucks, pretty good..
Must try
Best Bar-B-Q in the area.
The brisket and ribs were absolutely dry and tuff. The hotlinks were amazing. And 2 plate cost 100$.
Food was good, was just way more expensive than I thought it would be. The guy putting the meat on my tray put more than I wanted, so be specific, if u want half a scoop u need to say so. And for it being our first time there I just feel like we could have been more informed about what the cost of it all was. Am not sure how but for 2 people our total was like $65. Our meats were both only $17.
If you’re ever in Midland and craving authentic Texas BBQ, KD’s Bar-B-Q is the spot to hit. The brisket and sausage were absolutely spot-on—smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. Each bite had that perfect balance of tenderness and bark, and the sausage had just the right amount of snap and seasoning.
The sweet tea? Texas perfection—refreshing and not overly sweet, exactly how it should be.
While the meat and tea stood out as highlights, the potato salad didn’t quite hit the mark. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal, lacking the boldness or texture you’d expect alongside such stellar proteins.
That said, the overall experience was great. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.
Hands down worst bbq I’ve ever had. Dry, mushy, flavorless brisket. Greasy over cooked sausage. Beans are okay the potato salad tastes like water.
Pretty good.

I did read the reviews but my husband and in-laws said it was one of the best years ago, and we all wanted some BBQ (Saturday evening 10/19/24). It was a little on the pricey side but I don't know if it was anymore than any other BBQ joint. All of the meat was cooked well and tender. However, that doesn't matter when there is 0 taste to it. It's like they completely forgot to season any of it. You can't salt and pepper BBQ after the fact, it just doesn't work. And BBQ sauce shouldn't need to be used if you know how to cook good bbq, it should be something extra only if you want it. The BBQ sauces (I tried them all) all tasted the same, same flavor but spicy had heat, sweet had extra sugar and so on, and none were great. Potato salad, coleslaw and beans were not great either. The cobbler was good but tasted like any other frozen cobbler you can buy the store. Non of the people working were very friendly either, not rude but just not friendly or welcoming. The only thing they did well was the cook on the meat and their iced tea was good. Definitely won't be going back. 4 of us ate and it was about $100. If it was good, I wouldn't mind paying that. But for that kind of money it better have some seasoning.

Parked the truck down the road a block or so walked in didn't know what to order or how so yeah just pointing at meat so yeah got some brisket , sweet ribs, and hot links and coleslaw the bill was 35 ish $ ....I about soiled my britches right there!! Good lands that's high priced ...then I see tip jars all over the place ??????...put you tips in folks we sodomized your wallet so just put your tips in yet to we sure need more yes more money ?...so the ribs were good the brisket was good but almost to much smoke on it the outside crust was a little bitter the hot links were real good...I would come back for the food but to pay that much it better be the best bbq I've ever had and it just wasn't the best of the best .

My husband and I see the sign of the best Bq at Midland Tx so we decided stop and eat.
Our meat was dry, that sauce was terrible and pricey. It looks like a one time was good, NOT NOW DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY !!
KEEP DRIVING!
This place is highway robbery at its finest.
The brisket was dry as dirt, the chicken was dry.
And me and my buddy for 2 slices of brisket and a piece of chicken and 5 sides, and 2 small drinks it was $71. Jesus Christ I hate this place! $71!?!
