I placed an order for six people to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving at 4:00 p.m.. I go to pick up the order and nobody's at the location. I called the phone number and of course nobody answers. I was actually able to gather up all my family this year to have Thanksgiving together and nothing. I spent a lot of time calling around to see who had the most reasonable prices and 7ngottunstrly it was Macs. I will never recommend this place or spend a dollar here. you've ruined our Thanksginng family ger together.

Ain’t nobody in Midland can smoke ‘em or grill ‘em like Wes Webb. I’ve seen his select menu caterings too and they’re top tier

I got the brisket bowel which was (to my mistake of not paying attention) pay by the pound. So my meal alone was $20 😳 and way too much food for one person. No kids menu which was also disappointing. Also I asked if they had regular mac and cheese, the lady said yes but then found out it had green Chiles which the kids did not eat as it was too spicy. The ladies dishing up the food were rude but the cashier lady was very nice and helpful! I appreciated the outdoor space but I don't think we will be returning.

It's just a preference, i prefer the fat not to be trimmed from my brisket.

Being a visitor in the area and walking in to a place to eat expecring decency...I can tell you this place SUCKS..FROM THE MOMENT we walked in. Mexican lady at the register was rude as could be..trying to rush us because we have not been here she was irritated i guess that we had to look at the menu a second....Then my fish was served to me UNCOOKED. MY husband,myself and our 2 girls all got our food at diffent times, so we didnt actually eat together.Customer service completely sucked here.

Love the ribs they are juicy, crispy, and smoky with good seasonings. I don't like mac n cheese, but their green chile mac is to die for. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is a must try. A couple of minor complaints: brisket was dry when we went, great smoky flavor with good seasonings but dry. Also, it would be nice to get some toast instead of just plain bread. It was very hot too. I guess the ac is making the light bill too high.

The sides of baked beans and mac/cheese were served cold. It took over 15 minutes to place our order due to the absence of a cashier. Our bill, which included two pulled pork sandwiches, one side each, regular drinks, and a scoop of cobbler, totaled over $39.00, including a $1.50 convenience fee. The cashier arrived 25 minutes later. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing, and we would not return even if the meal were complimentary. This place may have been good a few years ago but has gone down hill. Do yourself and your wallet a favor go eat somewhere else.

The food is good but their hours are so inconsistent that it is annoying when you drive up to the restaurant and it is closed during their “business hours” It would be nice if they could make a post on their FB page to avoid this situation.

I was sitting in the hotel, wanting bbq, saw Mac’s menu, but one site they were closed Saturday and Sundays. Another said they were open Saturday. I decided to give them a call, if no one answers, I know they are closed.
Well, the owner answered, said they were closed for a private party, then he asked if it was just me…. “Come on over, come to the side door to the kitchen and I’ll make you a plate.”
The best bbq and definitely the best customer service.

My wife and I had a bowl for lunch. Cost was $90.00 for 2 bowl, 2 cobblers and 2 drinks. Could have gone to a great steakhouse for that price. Never again will I step foot in that establishment. Food is not that good for that price.

I enjoyed a hearty lunch here today as I was visiting Midland for the day. Mac’s came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. They have a fulsome menu with many meat choices including chicken, St. Louis ribs, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, etc. you will not leave here hungry. You buy the meat by the pound and buy you sides as desired. It was clean, well prepared and crowded.
Vegetarian options: Not much of a vegetarian place if you want bbq.
