Nobu, that's me

Probably the best Asian food in midland… well not probably. Definitely! The food is incredible.Lunch was packed and still it was extremely fast. This will be a regular spot for me.

This place is so unexpected in Midland. I thought it was a fish and chips restaurant but it is one of the best ramen houses I have ever been to.Great menu and the dishes are executed flawlessly. They have a great selection of Japanese beers and Saki as well as a full bar.Ample seating and the parking is no problem as the city has painted parking stripes on the overly wide street.Stop in for a meal or a nightcap. I hear breakfast is amazing but I have not been there in the morning yet.

The chicken is so dry I could barely chew it. The fried rice was full jalapeno and garlic. The oranges on the salad were sour. The bottled beer was the best thing. The place was clean, but the food was not.

Mr chips is a unique place. It’s dressed up to seem upper scale, however I don’t feel like the food matches that. Personally I feel the portions were lacking a little bit for the price. The beef and broccoli has a good taste, but for 18$ I’d expect a little more than the plate we got. The 6$ egg roll appetizer is just 1 egg roll. Ours came out with the center still cold, which tells me it’s a premade frozen item, not freshly made, but I could be wrong. When it was remade, it did taste pretty good. For the drink I ordered a Dr Pepper, they brought me out a can and a cup of ice, and that cost 2.50. The Chow Fun noodles tasted like plastic and had 0 flavor. Not a fan of this place, very low quality to cost

Service was slow. It didn't seem like they have waitstaff. Its not the typical restaurant dining experience. It's more like a fast food dining experience. You'll order your food, pay and sit down.Food seemed to be made with fresh vegetables but most of the entrees we tried were bland tasting. It wasn't terrible but not great.

This place is nuts. No servers, you have to order all your food up front at the greeter desk. They started bringing out our meals before our drinks or our appetizers. Staff is rude. Will NOT be back. If I could leave zero stars I would. Don’t come here - you’ll pay sit down restaurant prices for McDonald’s service.

Mister Chip’s is AMAZING!!! SO happy such a unique restaurant is here in Midland, TX! The food is unique and delicious and the atmosphere is trendy and upscale. We ordered several plates for our party of 4 and absolutely loved everything. If you haven’t been you should definitely go!

Today was my first dining experience at Mister Chips Kitchen. Truth be told, I was sad to see Basin Burger close. Ahhh, that salmon sandwich was dreamy. But, out with the old and in with the new.At the counter, I immediately asked for a list of spicy dishes and selected the sweet yellow curry with chicken. The veggies in the dish are bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. I requested no rice.Fabulous and definitely spicy! Perfect amount of sauce. I will definitely order again.Okay, nitty gritty: staff friendly and attentive; overall appearance clean; and I quickly became super jealous I didn't select the tuna nachos like the table seated next to me. Wow, they looked delicious. Scanning the room, the plates looked generous and other dining patrons very happy.Thank you, Mister Chips for a good dinner!

Just opened and one of the best places to eat in town. Food came out extremely fast and was all delicious! 3 chili beef was delicious, general tso was also very good, and so was the sweet yellow curry! Will definitely be eating here again.

My Rating: 4.5/5 (Not an option so pushing 5)I am really happy we have a place like this in Midland now. It is a bit reminiscent of something like a P.F. Chang's. I would say the dining experience is on the higher side considering you order at the front then seat yourself. Waiters were very attentive bringing out the food and serving water. I had some confusion about how to get another paid drink, I didn't want to get up and wait in the long line. Not sure how that could be solved. The food quality was great. I really enjoyed my General Tso's chicken. The tuna nachos were different and good. We will go back and I do recommend it. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I really want their cute hats!!

Mister Chip’s kitchen + Bar is something Midland has needed for a long time! This place offers an amazing selection of Asian inspired food in a beautiful space! Love the concept of walk up order, no more waiting for a waiter to come to your table. The custom cocktails are delicious! Especially the frozen options.

Loved the atmosphere and service!! Food came out SUPER fast, and drinks were great! We enjoyed sharing the tuna nachos, chicken lettuce wraps and egg rolls. Not a big fan of the fried rice (definitely not like hibachi, just a heads up). But we plan to come back and try more! Great date night spot.

Atmosphere is great and has an order at the counter concept. Everyone was very friendly and service was top notch. Our kids ordered the Children's Lo Mein and it was incredibly spicy for children. They offered to remake it without the sauce, but it came plain with no flavor, nothing. Pretty big disappointment there. We had to get our kids food on the way home. The chicken fried rice was very unique and flavored fine but was unexpectedly very spicy. I've never had a spicy chicken fried rice anywhere and I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it as much as I wanted. The wife had the chicken lettuce wraps. She said it was OK, but wouldn't order it again. We might give it a year and try it again, or we might not. We're still undecided. Definitely a date place, not necessarily kid friendly although they have a kids menu. I would also say this is not your typical Asian food place. Do not expect traditional. Not a bad thing to be unique if it's executed well, our family feels this was not.

Awesome place to eat and bring the family. I brought my 9 yr old son and two of his friends for dinner after their practice. As soon as we walked we were warmly greeted by the hostess. I ordered the tuna nachos and an egg roll and the kids ordered the kids nuggets with the sweet and sour sauce. As soon as we sat down the drink runner came with our beverages. The wait time was about 15-20 mins for all our food to come out. The food was amazing and we all cleaned our plates. The sweet and sour sauce is AMAZING! Mister Chips is definitely going to be a recurring dinner spot for my family and I.
