Today is National Cinnamon Roll Day! I drove from Odessa for these rolls. They were ok. A little burnt but still eddible.

I placed a phone order at Gerardo's after looking for a place with good reviews for shrimp tacos. Since I had never been there so I used my GPS. For some reason It took me to Mulberry Cafe. I thought it was a bit weird but went in anyway. I went in and saw 1 lady working there who was wearing a Gerardos t-shirt. It was lunchtime, and they were busy. Everyone working there were all friendly and helpful to every person they spoke with. I got to the front of the line to pick up my order. After not being able to find it, they asked what I ordered, I told them, and they directed me to the right place. They acted like it was no big deal that I walked into the wrong restaurant, so I questioned it, and they explained that both places have the same owner, and sometimes Google gets them mixed up. The reviews about Gerardo's tacos were right on! I plan on eating at Mulberry Cafe bc of the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Ordered the Texas omelette. I got it without the sauce. Asked about it and they said, they ran out. She blamed it on the girl up front. $20 for breakfast and not getting what you want sucks.

I don’t understand how bad you have to be at cooking chicken but it was inedible, it was beyond chewy. The burgers at lunch tasted like they were precooked and sitting under a heating lamp. My salad was served with wilted greens the core of romaine.

Busy during lunch yesterday, the line went fast. Friendly community, person who took my order hoping she had a better day, and busser was very friendly. Hopefully, busser can be promoted! They seemed organized, and food had no presentation, still good to eat. Dragonfruit drink was delicious.

Ordered a soup and sandwich. Food just wasn't good. Bread was stale. Soup tasted canned. Service was almost non existent with refills and other needs at the table. Food and drinks we ordered was forgotten about. The only good thing was the atmosphere. It's a nice place just not great for food or service.
Great place to eat in Midland! Service was excellent and the food was hot, fresh and we will definitely be back next time we visit!
