I am not quite sure why this restaurant within the Midland International Airport has such a low rating. The ground beef taco salad I got was very reasonably priced at $16, the portion size was very large, and it tasted pretty decent especially if you keep in mind it’s airport food. There is plenty of seating in there including booths with charging ports even though it looks super gloomy and outdated. I will say the service could be a bit better which is the reason for taking a star. The bartender/waitress was very snappy and rude but overall was efficient in getting our order in and getting our food out.

Went to the midland airport location before a flight today and the guy bartending was very rude acted like it was a blessing for him to serve us. He was looking at the screen back toward the bar talking and expected us to hear him. Looking back at other reviews this is an ongoing issue with him that corporate needs to correct! Topping it off with a mandatory tip!

They don't bother to put on here that they ONLY serve people with a boarding pass. I parked, got a pass, walked all the way there, and got ready to wait(I was picking someone up) only to find out I'm not able to be served. I'm not surprised it's only 2.6 stars.

How this place is still running, I'll never know. Go to the food court. There's still alcohol and the service and food are 10 times better. Hopefully, one of these days the airport will revoke their lease.

One of the worst-tasting meals I’ve ever had was the chicken taco. The chicken cubes were boiled and microwaved, then shoved into taco shells with no flavor. The fajita chicken bowl was the same—unseasoned, dry chicken cubes with tasteless rice. The limited food options at this airport make it difficult to choose, but if you must eat, I suggest the nachos. They’re not great, but they’re better than the other options.

Some short disrespectful Racist employee decided to yell at some nice older lady in line because she was wearing a hijab. She did not bother anyone and he refused to serve her and yelled at her to leave the line. This was the only restaurant open around that time. I felt really bad for her and offered to Buy her a meal she Refused with a smile on her face. Racist people like this shouldn’t be working at a airport, especially an international one shame on You for hiring people like this
Our flight got diverted and the staff at Peppers was bombarded with all of these new customers. They handled it like a champ. Renisha and Mark and the entire staff did everything with a smile and took care of everyone. They need a raise!

I walked into Peppers at 7 p.m. and the lady bar tender said they had last call at 7 p.m. This meant bar and food. I was very disappointed. I looked up the times for the restaurant and it says on the website they close at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays. I'm curious if the Owner or the Manager are aware of the staff closing earlier than stated. Customer service and quality of food should be their # 1 dedication.

This was THE WORST excuse for a Mexican Restaurant. I felt bad for the lady preping and serving the food. She has to be so ashamed to serve the so-called Mexican food. It was border line offensive. Please do not waste your money...and it sure is a ton of money wasted!! 23 bucks for this garbage in a paper bowl!! ?♂️
