Picked up a gyro sandwich, falafel sandwich and spanakopita. All three food items were phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. This restaurant is inside a building and doesn't have a parking spot. You have to find street parking nearby.
Midland Texas is not known for its flavorful food, so when it comes to ethnic type foods, it’s a huge hit or miss. Pop N Pitas is definitely an exception. Their Gyros are on par with more diverse cities such as Houston, Dallas or San Antonio. I love Gyros so when I give this place 5 stars, I really mean it. Try this place out and go for the classic gyro, then come back again for the other options!
The staff is friendly and the food is DELICIOUS and I can't wait for them to reopen! I prefer to do takeout here, as the (outdoor) seating is shared with a bar and the ashtrays on the tables aren't very nice to smell while eating.
