Ray's Italian Bistro Reviews
I went there tonight , I go here to Rays quite a bit, we waited over an hour in a half for some fettuccine, our waitress couldn’t even come and say we are still waiting or anything. We left the other wait said don’t worry about the drinks. People behind us were getting their food , but not us .. not a good time !
Rays is a family staple for us! We absolutely love their food and every time we go they are kind to us and our two kids. Friendly and good service and the food is always good! OUr favorite Italian food in midland! We always recommend to family & friends!
My family and I have just been discriminated against, the owner preferred a recurring customer to us, he asked us to turn off my 3 year old son's tablet because it bothered that preferred customer, they emphasized that he was a recurring and important customer and that they could not do nothing else for us except to humiliate ourselves, weren't me and my family customers? or are we not good enough for them???? absolutely unacceptable

Ray's Italian Bistro offers a delightful dining experience with a strong focus on quality and taste. The garlic rolls with balsamic dipping sauce are a standout, and the Special pizza, with its thin, lightly crisp crust and generous toppings, has become a crowd-pleaser. Recently, a large pepperoni and sausage pizza was praised for being huge, loaded with cheese, and perfect for feeding a family. The spaghetti with marinara sauce remains popular for its perfect consistency and flavor. Customers have enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo, describing it as beautiful, while the fried calamari is noted for being fresh and tender. The lobster ravioli is highlighted for being thick and stuffed with lobster meat, and the Chicken Fortuna is also mentioned as amazing. The spinach stuffed ravioli and chicken Marsala continue to receive high praise for their deliciousness and presentation.
While the service is reported to be fast, recent reviews indicate there can be delays during busy times. The atmosphere is welcoming, with professional staff enhancing the experience. Customers appreciate the impeccable service, with refills always provided without needing to ask. The overall quality of the food remains highly regarded, making it a recommended destination for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. The owner is recognized for running a tight ship, adding to the inviting family environment. Kid-friendliness is also highlighted, as kids love it here. Alcohol is not available, but this does not detract from the enjoyable meals, including favorites like halibut and salmon with lemon butter wine sauce.
