I’ve been to the Odessa location multiple times, dine in & to go. No problems, food was always great. First time ordering food at the Midland location & our steaks were overcooked & barely warm. I ordered 2 porterhouse steaks cooked the same way (medium rare) Took them to go & ate them in the parking lot so there wasn’t much time for them to cook longer in the container. Steak was flavorful but overcooked & not as enjoyable. I would’ve went back in to have them remade but I already waited almost an hour for my original order. Our tortilla soup was extremely bland as well, Mac & cheese was ok. Not sure if this was an off night or this location just isn’t great. An unfortunate waste of my time & $100.

Our waitress Mindy was great! Yes the food is good and appetizers are amazing, especially the Bacon appetizer! It was so goooood! But it wouldn’t have been a great experience if Mindy didn’t take care of us. We traveled from Pecos just for a good steak, and it was worth it!

Horrible. Waited 20 minutes at our table and never acknowledged. I had to get up and tell the hostess to get us someone. Waitress came 5 minutes later. We ordered at 6:40. Food came out an hour later. My wife’s steak was wrong and even the waitress acknowledged it. Midland is full of bad service and I expect it anytime I go out to eat but this was the worst.

Service was terrible... Ordered To-go, went to pick up order and Kept getting ignored. Finally brought food out after 20 mins. We order 2 meals. Steak with sides and a fried chicken salad. The porterhouse steak was full of tough fat in every bite. The chicken in the salad was dry and hard like it had been sitting out. Both meals need utensils to eat, only gave utensils for 1 meal. Terrible all the way around.
Solid steak, cooked just right. Sides were decent too. Service was a bit slow but friendly once they got around to us. Not mind blowing, but I’d come back for another feed.

Saltgrass is undoubtedly one of my favorite restaurants, and it consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. They serve some of the best steaks in town. I want to take a moment to highlight one of their standout waitresses, Libby. It's refreshing to encounter someone who genuinely enjoys their job, as it adds a vibrant energy to the atmosphere. Her quick, attentive service and friendly demeanor elevate the entire experience. I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

My husband and I usually prefer the Odessa location, but stopped by here for convenience. So glad we did. Our waitress LEXI was so attentive and friendly. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and my Old Fashioned was delicious. Two big thumbs up to Lexi and the kitchen staff.
