Everything was amazing. I had somewhat high expectations for this place considering the reviews, and it didn't disappoint.I ordered the popcorn shrimp which was perfect and generous, as well as the fried pork chops.All of it was well flavored and again generously portioned.I'd definitely come back to try some more of the other things they have to offer.

Driving through as we were heading back up to Oregon! Hands down the best southern bbq comfort food. The service and hospitality was amazing as well.

Can't go wrong with the menu..... Pork Chops, Meat Loaf, Chicken Fried Steak, Catfish, Gizzards with any of the sides are great. Got to have the Collared Greens. Every plate served with the sweetest cornbread which makes a great dessert

My husband and I specifically came here for the liver and onion because not many restaurants have it and waited one hour with my 3 children to be told they were out of liver and onion and collard greens. Then one hour after that they said they were out of rice, gravy, and cabbage. So we essentially waited 2 hours to be told they were out of most things on the menu. After those 2 hours we were told the chef was going to finally start making our food. Just left at that point. Inside also had a strong smell of mice urine.Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.

Amazing! I would give body parts just to eat this food it’s so good. After every bite you make a noise of pure bliss. The collard greens were out of this world. Fried neck bones are to die for. And don’t even get me started on the country fried steak!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Scotty’s. I can honestly say that I’m very impressed. The food was absolutely amazing. Well seasoned and delicious!!! The portions exceeded what I had imagined. I will definitely be visiting Scotty’s again very soon.

Me and my mom went there for lunch yesterday. Our goal in the summer is to eat somewhere we have never been before. Scotty's Soulfood was absolutely one of the best. We had the chicken fried steak and vegetable plate.... delicious. We will definitely go back!

I’m EXTREMELY impressed. I’ve lived in Midland/Odessa for majority of the last 5 years and this is hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to in this area. The food was delicious, great quality and quantity for a very reasonable price. Staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Laid back environment that feels just like eating at home. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My family and I will definitely be back!
