I’ve had several bad experiences over the past year or so. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but it’s been so consistently bad over time. I tried to give them multiple chances over a year, but it never got better. Always out of donuts. I went in around 9 AM. There was a line full of people and maybe 5 different donuts to choose from. The workers can’t get an order right to save their life. They also get really snippy if you correct them. T&T for the win. They are fully stocked even at noon!

Food and service was horrid. The donut shop without donuts and rude employees that constantly over talk you and got attitude because they got the order wrong. Wish I could give no stars!

The service was very poor the lady’s had a bad and nasty attitude and making faces because of their terrible listening skills and us having to correct them plenty of times the whole thing was just very frustrating

Donuts are hella dry or super soggy from grease. I would go to TNT or Johnny's. I would only recommend their donut holes unless the glaze is a damn rock.

Couldn’t go in to order, they were out of pretty much everything at 7am. No drinks. Person taking orders on the speaker was extremely rude.

The quality has dropped significantly, donuts look old, filled ones aren't even half filled, they can't fill any more if they run out. Pretty sad place to get donuts

I just went to pick up an order and the lady who served threw things at me, she was very rude, she told me why I was going there, that they didn't have anything and that I shouldn't come back and she treated me extremely badly. They should check their cameras

Placed an online order for 2 dozen donuts at 3:30. I was then told the order would be available at 4:30. However when I arrived I was greeted by an unpleasant lady that when asked about my ordered that was placed OVER AN HOUR AGO was only told then that they don’t have anything I ordered in stock.
I then asked how to get a refund when the lady stated I would have to go through whatever service I placed the order through as if brushing me off. I told her that I placed the order through their app where she then pulled out my receipt for the order I placed and took down my number so she could talk to her manager.
I don’t know if their app needs better communication with their store but letting me wait for over an hour to go up there to be told that they don’t have it is ridiculous.

The site says it opens at 4:30 am. But posted 5 am at the door. Waited from 4:25 am to 5:10 am, and still walking around and not open. Update your hours of operation!
Went through the drive thru this morning after just waking up. Haven’t had time to buy groceries so there’s nothing to eat in my house. Just trying to order a few donuts. I repeat the order 3 times. The lady was rude and flat. Never repeated the order back or explained anything to me when I wasn’t understanding her question. I had just woke up and don’t eat donuts often. I got to the window and the lady was shaking, visibly mad, and another employee came up and told her to just breathe. Completely unprofessional. My order ended up being wrong and I had to go inside. The lady inside was nice, explained they didn’t have one donut that I was asking for, and actually helped me instead of getting mad at me.

By far the slowest Shipley’s I’ve ever been to. I’m 33 and have never experienced anything like this in Houston. To top it off, they were out of donut holes by 10 a.m. on a Sunday! That’s unheard of and just crazy. Definitely not what I expected.

We came in and ordered a dozen - six fruit filled and six mixed. When we arrived home, the six filled were all cream. This is mostly just an inconvenience, but when I called to let the store know about the possibility that the donuts in the rack were mixed up, I got hung up on and the number went to voicemail after that.
This is happening more and more often in this town and frankly we're tired of paying for things we didn't order.
Look I get it - nobody LOVES working food service, but that's the job you took. Do it with a little pride.

Great donuts, but awful service. I always sense irritation when I’m simply ordering, and then if I correct them or ask them to confirm they get defensive. Today, I could tell the woman at the window was irritated so I checked my order before I left, she intentionally left out one of the donuts I paid for. While I caught that before I left, when I got home she gave me completely different kolaches than I ordered.
I don’t expect over the top service, but just give me what I paid for. Beyond annoying, we’ll find a new Sunday donut spot.
