Japanese food and the setting at this location is great. Very filling. I think I might become a regular. Bring your appetite because portions are generous. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
If you are like my husband and I, and you are desperately trying to find somewhere decent to eat in Midland, do not come here.
The place dirty floor broken took 2 hours to get our food and did not get our soup or salad.then there was only one cook.
The sushi truck hadn't come in that week so we didn't get exactly what we wanted but what we got was good.
Very cosy... food is spectacular and very friendly staff... especially Isaac in the kitchen
Where do I start with this place..... been twice (had to give it a second chance) and was horrible both times. The one waitress they have only speaks and understands like 10 words of English. They have one hibachi chef so if hes cooking when you get there, be prepared to wait at least an hour for him to come cook your food. My buddy and I both ordered 2 sushi rolls and asked that it not be brought out till our chef came to cook our food. Of course she didnt understand what we were saying and brought it to us immediately. The sushi was the worst I've seen or tasted. It wasnt even wrapped. It was practically small piles of rice with wads of the wrap mixed in with it and the ingredients piled on top. Then they drowned it in sauce, probably trying to cover up the taste of old crab and fish. Might have alot to do with the 90 year old meth head that was preparing it. We both took one bite and spit it out. An hour later our chef showed up to cook our food. There were 4 other people at out table/grill. It took over an hour for him to cook one thing at a time for each person. He cooked everyone's rice and then cooked one persons veggies, then the next persons veggies, then the next persons chicken, then the next person shrimp, ect. I got steak and shrimp, I got each one about 15 min apart. From the time we sat down to the time we left it was almost three hours. Sushi was horrible, the hibachi was horrible, the service was horrendous, and the time spent there was ridiculous. I'd give this place negative stars if I could. Oh and the whole place smells like a dumpster. The whole place is extremely filthy. I dont know how they haven't been shut down for health reasons. DO NOT EAT HERE. Someone should contact the health board
Phenomenal food! Great, quiet and nice staff
Wow what a disaster. This place needs to close. It hasn't been cleaned in forever to start, we ordered sushi and reminded the waitress three separate times and STILL didn't get it. The table was dirty and sticky when we arrived. Even the menu was dirty, so dirty I had trouble reading it. Half of both my scallops and steak were undercooked. The scallops and steak I ordered were so over seasoned I didn't even eat it. The eggs in the fried rice was the type you get from a carton, half the rice was burnt the other half was undercooked all of it horribly over seasoned. The chef didn't even speak to us really or even apologize when some of the food he was putting on my plate ended up in my lap. The building isn't even being maintained any more. The ventahoods have so much grease in them I honestly think it's a serious fire hazard. Skip the place. I won't be coming back.
I've been joyed it every time I've eaten here… More or less… The sushi is pretty good but they don't season the rice. Sometimes the performance at the hibachi tables don't justify the price of the food, but it's always pretty tasty
Really gross, sad, and expensive place. Went on a Friday night and it was almost empty. The soup that they serve as an appetizer is lukewarm super-salty canned beef broth and vegetable oil. The entrees are sub-Panda Express quality. After washing my hands in the dirty bathroom I pressed on the soap dispenser and the partition between the sink and the urinal subsequently fell over. Total price for dinner for two: 65.00.

The waitress admitted to me they have untrained staff cooking the food. The steak I got here was not steak. It was thinly sliced cutlets that were so salty I had to spit it out. I paid $25 for horrible food and i will never be coming back here. I left my food sitting there and no tip.
Good food service was a bit slow due to only using one side consisting of four tables for that night which was a Tuesday.
The filet is great. Ask for Donnie.
Sit in the bar, ask for Brett and order a double fister from Brett. He is the best bartender/server ever!!!
Came here for Mothers Day and guess what the prices are all jacked up. There's a big sign outside with the price. Well not today. Thanks, you dicks. Could have given my mom more if you weren't greedy.
