Hubby really enjoy the Crazy Alice, said it was one of the best cigars he's ever had!We sat at the bar and our bartender was very sweet and attentive. Explained the cocktails a bit for us and gave suggestions. The Pumpkin Spiced White Russian caught my eye online so I went with that and hubby had an Old Fashioned. Drinks were spot on so when the bartender said they had a great Espresso Martini I said but of course! It was absolutely delicious!! We highly recommend Buffalo Nickel for a small gathering or date night cocktails.

It was my first time coming here. It won't be my last. I didn't even make into the door when I was met by very happy patrons leaving. (That's a very positive sign.) Getting inside, I was amazed by the ambiance. It's a cross of western and 1930's motif. The bar was not a capacity yet, so the group of four I was with was able to get a table quickly. I ordered a double shot of top shelf burbon and headed to the humidor. What a selection! They have their signature selection of cigars. I selected that and met a close friend who worked there. When he asked what I ordered, he suggested I upgrade it to a "Smoked Old Fashioned." I thanked him and headed back to my friends right as my drink got there. I asked my server if I could upgrade my order to the suggested drink, and with a big smile, she took my drink and headed back to the bar. Less than 5 minutes later, and with a dramatic flourish, she arrives with my drink on a 10" tray, covered in a clear top. My drink was centered on the tray surrounded by a massive amount of oak flavored smoke. With style, she pulled the cover, giving the surrounding area the appeal of a magic show. All patrons nearby started asking about the drink. (Great advertising!) Since there was no smoking allowed inside, we went to the opened back area. It's filled with groups of very comfortable chairs and propane fire pit tables. Sadly, we couldn't stay as long as I wanted. We had to meet another group elsewhere. I have to point out, though, as we were leaving, the bar was a lot fuller, but the atmosphere and the customers were still just as friendly. It was amazing. We will be coming back.

I came with a group of about 10 people and our experience was incredible. We sat out in the patio area around a fire pit and had some drinks. Everything we tried was delicious. The fire pit area was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was great, checking on us regularly and making great recommendations. I will definitely be coming back.

This is a unique spot in Midland with craft cocktails and a humidor. Decent cigar selection and a cozy yet kinda swanky vibe. The craft beer selection was a disappointment and the only thing holding back this rating from 5 stars for me. I'll definitely be back!

The Nickel was advertised as a cigar bar, i found their humidor animic and disappointing. Nice bar as far as bars go, but not the place for cigars.
