I was extremely disappointed in the food. I had the sampler plate with brisket, sausage, and pork rib. Shared the plate with my wife and we didn’t eat a third of it. To be fare, I have eaten BBQ all over the state and I know good BBQ, Half acre is not it. If I wanted Dickies or Rudy’s caliber BBQ I would have went there.
For those of you that wrote a great review of this food you really need to get out and find some real BBQ…….As well, yall owe me $38.00.

🤩 wowza this place is great! It was our first time there and they did not disappoint. 😋 we got the grizzly burgers and they were delicious. The huckleberry jam took me back to glacier nat. park, MO 🥲. Generous portions, got our food quickly, hot and fresh for a great price. Grub and those other fancy burger places cannot compete! We'll be back to try their bbq next time.
The food was good, the only things I didnt liked were that there was no normal sausage, only cheddar and the pork ribs
All is good, brisket, turkey, ribs and even the cobbler.
Tasty! The moist brisket is worth the future heart attack.
Worst place I ever ate..threw up not even two minutes later after eating this place..the pork wasn't even cooked all the way the turkey was nasty and the grill cheese was burnt bad and the fries were not even done
For the price of the food, you would figure the taste would be better. No flavor, it was planned.

BBQ is one area of food that I take a strong interest in. We've traveled to nearly every state, and make it a priority to stop, and experience the BBQ in each of these places. With Texas being the highest ranked in our opinion, and Kansas/Missouri close behind, The Half Acre is top 3 in Texas. Amazing food, and excellent staff!

We've stopped in here twice for work lunches and both times have been amazing food and service. The staff are kind, the speed of service is phenomenal, and the food is very tasty. Thanks for a great experience.

This place is absolutely amazing! Chef inspired and unique styles of condiments and such. For instance the BBQ is one of a kind and very good! (I’m picky about BBQ sauce too.) The typical BBQ meats are top notch! Another cool side note about half acre is they aren’t just a restaurant. They own the ranch where beef is raised, a meat market where you can buy their raw beef, and a restaurant that cooks and prepares it for you. Reasonably priced and has indoor and outdoor seating and even an outdoor area for the kids. Don’t forget to try the banana pudding!!!

This is my wife’s and my favorite spot in all of west Texas! The brisket is the best we’ve ever had, by far and their bbq sauce🤯🤤🤤🤤
