We have eaten here many times in the past and absolutely love the flavor of the steaks and fajitas but they have moved from the spot off over by cinergy theater and now we can not find them. I am not sure they are open anymore. The spot on the map associated with this site leads to a nightclub called The Ox.

Tacos are overrated. The shell was tasteless. No cheese, onions and maters or any red salsa to spice up the taco. The hamburger looked good at an adjacent table.

You don't stumble over this place; a trip there has to be deliberate. It is in the strip center next to Cinergy in Midland on Wall St/Business-20. The food is incredible and is the only place I know of in the area with puffy tacos. I had the seared ahi tacos which were dynamite. They also have amazing queso and French fries. I can't recommend this place enough. It isn't cheap, most plates run $12-16, but it is plenty of food and the quality is unmatched.

I've never had anything here I didn't like. They have an excellent menu and their salsa bar is great. I wish they had a full bar instead of only serving beer and wine but other than that it's always a great experience

PROS AND CONS We tried this place for the first time and the service was great but the $8 chips and queso we started with tasted like it came straight out of a box of Velveeta cheese. We ordered the puffy brisket tacos which were delicious but they charge $1.50 for each additional ingredient like cheese, avocado etc. These should be standard ingredients like they are in other restaurants. The bowl of beans were over the top delicious and far better than refried beans you get elsewhere. No bowl of salsa to share - instead it's on the side bar with those tiny individual containers. Will we go back? Maybe, but not any time soon.

We tried Toros Cafe for our first time and we loved it. The food and salsa were amazing and the service was the best we have had in a long time. Our waitress Selena was awesome! She checked on us often and never let us go without. We had the brisket tacos and taco salad and now we are hooked. We will definitely be back!

The Spicy Avocado Salsa at the salsa bar was phenomenal. The chicken fajita quesadilla was good. The staff were friendly. I didn't love the beans.
