Make sure to tell them you want a fresh burger and you're willing to wait. If not, they'll use patties that have been sitting up.

Used to be okay with this place and go all the time. Tonight we wanted to dine in this time because we usually do curbside or pick up. Tonight my experience was ruined, as I was eating. I saw a few cockroaches and I have a really bad phobia of them, I almost had a panic attack. The workers in there didn't help at all. Laughing at it and didn't want to kill it. Mind you it's unsanitary and they can lay eggs. I was done! I walked out!

I was so upset! I grew up here and love whataburger, just visited and ordered dinner for my family of 8. We got there at 8:30pm and didn't leave until 9:15pm. We were the only ones there, a lot of the employees were just goofing off. They forgot two items in our order so asked about it, they got us half of it. When we asked about the shakes after getting all our food they hadn't even started making them and called my husband fat right to his face in spanish- I guess they didn't know we speak Spanish too. Came home with everything to find they hadn't put any sauces at all after we asked for them too. Including in the chicken tender meal which should come with ranch. Overall really poor experience.

Ordered food for pickup. Drinks ready and waiting when we got there. Including milk shake. Sat another 20 minutes. Then asked about food. Gave my name told they are working on it. Waited until food was freshly prepared. The ice in our drinks was melted. Milkshake melting. Checked bags and didn't get the extras we requested and had to wait on those items. The first person who asked completely forgot what I told her. Another person got the items. The food was good, but lack of organization and knowledge of keeping cold items cool, or not making so far ahead of hot items. The focus of staff was on drive through and not on anything else. I observed people in the restaurant taking burgers back to counter to get fixed. No attention to detail on the orders.

The What A Burger industry is in bad shape the cooks you get don't speak English and that's usually not the problem but when I begin to notice a pattern I call it like I see it. Statistically speaking the cooks are African and Portuguese people usually (what happened to the Americans?) the cashier's are similar with the occasional one that is completely fine! But her team would be trash just like the garbage they would be serving in this dump... More then often I see people getting their orders wrongfully made,undercooked, or just wrongfully charged. Refunds aren't something you get right away without having to explain it to them 80 times or more in every way possible (because they don't speak English well) that's where that problem lies in. I see constantly daily customers coming in eating food and getting sick!! The day after... You know the law has allowed std people to work behind the kitchen now in the USA!? It's true look it up. AMERICA DON'T GO EAT OUT ANYMORE IT'S A TRAP SAVE YOURSELF AND KIDS FROM THIS S))t going on!. Stay blessed.

On two separate occasions, I’ve ordered a biscuit sandwich with bacon in the morning, and on both occasions I received one with sausage. There were hardly any customers around either time and the restaurant was not busy, and I was not informed that they were low on/out of bacon, so I can only assume this error was due to complacency on the part of the staff. If your staff can’t show up to work a morning shift while actually being awake, maybe they shouldn’t be serving customers in the morning. I expect more from a large chain.

**Edit: make that three times. Fool me once, I suppose…don’t go to this Whataburger for breakfast if you want to receive the correct order.

I waited for about 1.5 hours here because they kept messing up our burgers. Originally they messed up 4/4 burgers then 3/4, then 2/4. Eventually they got 1/4 wrong but I gave up because the one they COULD NOT get right was my own. I went from expecting a burger with BBQ , onion, bacon, cheese, and pickles, to a burger with green chilis and thats it???
Also on my first trip through the drive thru, the young lady asked me to pull aside ( there were 2 cars already staggardly parked in front of me, where am I gonna go) and i asked how long the food would take? She stared at me with the rudest tone and said "I don't know, can you pull over there." You think they would have basic manners especially because I showed nothing but respect.

Got to be careful who you hire. Things can run much slower. And you can down grade the entire experience. They don’t say “Hi” or “Thank you” these are basic words anyone from all parts of the earth can learn and memorize. They just stare at us like we are on an exhibit at the zoo or something. Not good. Hold to you standards and expectations. Grow the people that work with your company. Or you will soon be going out of business.

The cheese on the biscuit sandwiches is being slapped on demand and cold unmelted on the sandwich. Is it possible to have it melted on the sandwich?
