They close at 9pm so walking in at 8:33 should be ok. We didn’t get bread until after meal was delivered to table. We needed drink refills-he took our glasses and came back and said sorry, we already dumped the tea. He didn’t offer water just our empty tea glasses back on table. If this is the way you are going to treat patrons, put sign on door—last seating at _____so we can close at 9!

I have ordered food via door dash from this place on a weekly basis for two years. Tonight for the first time, one of my entrees didn’t arrive. I called and they offered zero help and offered to do nothing. I’m done. Beware of

We had a disappointing experience here. We placed our order 50 minutes ahead, with an estimated wait time of 30-35 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up, the server said it would be another 8 minutes, so I went back to my car and returned 10 minutes later, only to wait an additional 15 minutes. The server showed little to no apology for the delay, and when I finally received my food and thanked him, he didn’t respond.
As for the food, the lasagna was a 2/5, and the pollo rollatino was slightly better at 3/5, but the noodles were undercooked, and the vegetables were overcooked and mushy. The accompanying sauce lacked richness and was watery. After being a loyal La Gondola customer for nearly a decade, this experience was well below expectations, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I ate here with my daughter and my best friend a couple days ago. Our waitress was great. Our food however, was not. I ordered the chicken piccata because it’s my favorite meal, and it wasn’t good at all. My daughter said her spaghetti tasted like spaghettio’s from a can. My best friend liked her meal ok. My daughter actually asked me if we could go next door to Panda Express when we left.

Great dining experience. Only 1 complaint very minor complaint, the waitress was a little slow to refill the drinks. I had the stuffed shrimp that comes with crab in it. Absolutely delicious. Same with the bruschetta we had as an appetizer. The food was fresh and the flavors were very balanced. Loved the atmosphere. If I could give them a 4.8 star rating I would. Only 1 very minor thing.

Surprisingly fantastic find in Midlothian! Don't let the small dining room fool you, this place is your hidden gem for Italian food in Midlothian. You start with bread hitting the table that you'd never expect to be THAT good, and it only goes uphill from there.
The food, the service, and everything about this place is absolutely on point. We'll definitely be going here again!
