We had been visiting Midlothian and looking for a coffee shop and came upon moravian coffee. The coffee was good and gave us the wake-up we needed to get through the day. It did take some time to get our coffee as it was busy and appeared to only be one person working.

Very few places are capable of achieving either a beautiful welcoming atmosphere, delicious and lovingly made coffee, and top quality customer service all at once but Moravian coffee has managed to excel in each of these and makes it look

Lavender dirty chai... Not bad! Been coming here since the lighthouse days, years ago. Great job reimagining the space and congrats on a year, Moravian!

Best coffee in Ellis County! Finally we have someone who understands that quality, fresh coffee beans (roasted just days ago) make the best cup of coffee. Love this

Had their lavender cappuccino for the first time. Was very good :-)I miss the atmosphere of the place it was before Moravian coffee, but it’s not the worst. Not as homely or comforting, but it looks nice. Just modern & different.

I had an Americano with just a bit of half and half. It was delicious! I'll try other things next time. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting, and the employees are friendly.

Love this coffee shop in our town! Lattes are silky smooth and delicious. Baked goods are always fresh and delicious, try the scone! It’s my favorite. Thanks for amazing coffee y’all, it’s hard to find a coffee shop that still takes the time to craft a good latte, keep it up guys!

Decent coffee. Needs better food or no food at all. There’s no worth to the food they serve including the pastries, prob the worst I’ve ever had but the coffee is definitely decent, not the best but decent.

We've been to the Moravian twice now since it changed hands from the Lighthouse to Moravian Coffee. The new owners have brought a different vibe into the picture and we love it. The first time we rolled in though, we were surprised with the many changes. There's still breakfast type items to start your day and some that pair well with coffee really at any time of the day. The coffee is delicious and so was my Chai tea latte the second visit. They didn't have skim milk though, only whole milk. I was offered oat milk; but not told that it was, yes, extra. $1.00 extra to be exact which was basically a 25% upcharge on a $4.50 beverage. Not. Very. Nice. I know it's on the menu above my head and over to my right; but tell me about it please. The roaster smell is wonderful and so is the very interesting seasonal menu. I'm sure the Christmas menu is up by now. They have a drive thru and plenty of parking along with outside seating.

I purchase coffee beans from Moravian for our coffee shop in a different state and have been repeatedly impressed with their customer service. They know their customers and help make sure they have what they need. Not to mention, their coffee tastes delicious! We get comments all the time about how great the roasts are! One person even said the drip coffee we have using Moravian’s Guatemalan roast is the only coffee she drinks black!

I like what they have done in taking over this location. The coffee is good, what is missing is the cozy ambiance. Both times I have gone there they are blasting alternative music making it not the best place to relax and work. Service was good both times - they have some unique options.

Was in the area and decided to stop by This place is so cool on the inside. Great location right off 287/9th Street. Plenty of parking on both sides of building, also has drive thru as well. The menu is small but has lots of great options. From Cold, hot coffees, and great Teas. They have small amount of pastries to purchase. Baked there daily. I meet Carson, one of the owners while waiting for my order. He explained how they bought the shop from the church back in February. He was very friendly. He spoke about how this was a GOD thing since they were already involved in the production of the coffee for them before the sell of the place. They are doing amazing things with that attitude. I got a Cappuccino with caramel, and a blueberry scone. They were both delicious! I even went back and bought 2/pumpkin spice and blueberry scones to take home. The decor is very laxed back, from inside to patio area outside. It screams, come in and stay as long as you want. There's plenty of room for small groups, a loft area upstairs for larger parties. And the open patio is just the perfect spot to hang with friends. This place is PERFECT!! It won't disappoint on any level.
