Lighthouse church folks are so comfortable welcoming like family

Coffee was pretty good! I got the lavender one. The ambiance was very appealing and there was plenty of space indoor and outdoor. However outdoor there was no shade! Service was good just a bit slow preparing the food but the sweet girl was alone when serving both beverages and food so it was definitely understandable

This is my go-to place in Midlothian for coffee, soup, and sandwiches. It's a relaxing place to be.

Lighthouse Coffee Bar has been here a long time. It's an outreach non-profit of the church next door. We only stumbled on it this year when out tooling around. A venue for indoor and outdoor stage music, the Coffee Bar also promotes art and has an interesting gallery.Beyond Coffee and many other assorted beverages (see Drinks menu photo), the Lighthouse offers food. They have breakfast, hot and cold sandwiches, soup and salads and nibbles. That's all in addition to the bakery goods and assorted changing desserts. The Lighthouse is fairly comfy with several chair and sofa groupings, a quiet room with couches and closing sliding glass doors, and an upstairs with one large table and several small ones. There are numerous small tables in the area of the small indoor stage. Outdoors there's a portico and varied seating for a large stage. I did notice that the day we were there, the regulars, nearly all students, squared off into all the comfy territories and spread out leaving only the tiny tables in the main room. Can't say I blame them and it wasn't a big deal. As luck would have it, we got the table upstairs, when our order was ready.I was on a low carb diet and ordered a bread less sandwich - the Chicken Bacon Melt with some added spinach. I appreciated that you could choose veggies as a side instead of chips. My husband ordered the Texas Sausage Melt Panini. Out of the Baked items, we chose two luscious looking giant raspberry fingerprint cookies made with almond flour.Everything was really tasty as it turned out. The cookies were excellent. I narrowly escaped sharing one of the largest most delicious looking cinnamon buns, I believe I had ever seen, with my husband. Another day, maybe. My spouse had regular brewed coffee and I had Chai. The Lighthouse is a pretty mellow place and modestly priced. We liked it and we'll be back.

The coffee is fine but they want you to order online to use the drive thru. Okay so obviously you have to order ahead of time. That's fine except for they take random holidays and close at different times than what they have listed occasionally. And they still accept online orders during this time. So you don't know until you literally show up that they aren't even open. This is the 4-5th time I'm waiting for a refund on a coffee that I have an order confirmation of -stating it would be ready today, in 20 minutes.

It was just Ok... frap was really good but, I also ordered a white chocolate mocha coffee extra hot, doubled cupped. It was almost Luke warm, 1 cup. No baked goods at all...on a Saturday morning. Spent $9+ So that's why I said it was just OK.

Drinks were great I'll be back for that. I had the breakfast burrito but I wouldn't recommend it, it's nothing special can easily buy the ingredients at the grocery store. Just plain Turkey deli meat, slice of cheese, and regular flour tortilla with pace picante sauce on the side. Not a lot of flavor pretty basic. I'd consider this more of a heated Turkey wrap, nothing about it is an authentic burrito. Not even the cheese selection, could of at least gone with a Mexican mix and made salsa from scratch. It won't steer me away from the other foods, I'm willing to give it a try but I wouldn't call this a breakfast burrito, doesn't feel like this one was made with love. Not much thought into this burrito.

I really enjoy this place. I used to meet a family member here on a monthly basis. I have not been in a few months so this review is based on past experience. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to work with dietary needs as much as possible. The coffee is very good! One of my favorite baristas is no longer on staff. However, all the staff are ready to step up! The owner is a great person as well. Sat and had an extensive conversation with him about coffee and community last year. Come on in and grab a cup!

This place is the best coffee shop in Ellis County. Community, arts, eats, and drinks. They truly live up to their motto. Everything is delicious, and the atmosphere has such a great vibe. Can't wait to come back here again soon!

This is a cute coffee shop that is nestled in a building with a lot of seating for hanging out, work meetings, or studying. There is also a large outside patio with an abundance of chairs and tables. The coffee shop also has a drive thru which is great- you just need to order in advance and pickup at the window. I tried the chicken, bacon sandwich with an iced coffee. Both were delicious! The service was great and the employees were really friendly. I can't wait to try more items off their menu!

Coffee was decent and breakfast sandwiches were good! The service was dismal. Not one smile cracked by anyone who worked there or friendly greeting. They seemed annoyed we were there honestly. Is 10am too early ?
