such a wonderful gem in Midlothian. I’ve yet to eat something that I don’t like. Tina, Jo & Taylor are all SO great. whether you’re going for dinner, happy hour or a “nightcap”, you’re sure to have an excellent dining experience in an awesome atmosphere. I wish I could give more than five stars. 🥂

We came here for our nine month anniversary and had the best time. Tina was our server and she was amazing. Met another couple with a similar story and enjoyed them as well. Thanks for a great dining experience.

10/10. 5 gold stars. Top of the line. I loved everything. Not only was I met by exceptional hospitality the SECOND I walked through the door (shoutout to Tina - you’re the greatest), everything I ordered was perfection. From the cute, tasty cocktail to start, to the delicious papardelle bolognese, I was pleased. There were multiple items on the dinner menu I was interested in so I’ll definitely be coming back. AND it’s cute AF. This restaurant looks like it’s inside an old Victorian home, complete with funky furniture, eclectic decor on the walls, and beautiful, ornate chandeliers. I want to live here.

10/10 amazing experience. From the hostess, to the server, to the manager that checked in with us this place is just wonderful. I love family owned business. Reviewers need to be mindful that these are real people not corporate that really care about the community they serve especially with regards to the ingredients in the food they serve. Everything was delicious. Small snafu with our salad was professionally handled. Will definitely be back here again. Highly recommend for food, atmosphere, and phenomenal service. Well done Tawny & Ashton. :)

The food was terrible. More fat was served on the plate than meat. Potatoes were overcooked. Zing Zang is used for the Bloody Mary’s. The cheapest Bloody Mary mix on the market for such an upscale restaurant to use. The tables are small, your choice of chairs either have no back or high straight backs. Either way, expect your back to hurt when you leave. Bathrooms were clean and nice.

I have given this place several chances now. 3 dinners and 4 brunches. Most recently for their New Year's Eve fixed menu. For $90/person, I expected something similar to the other upscale restaurants in the metroplex and this place is no where near that. You're paying for the atmosphere. That's it. Steaks are tasteless. Drinks are overpriced. Portions are pretty small for the price. We had a shellfish allergy at my table and no other options were provided for the 1st couse of oysters (shellfish allergies are very common). We've been to brunch for my son's birthday, where they wanted to charge us $2 per person to eat the donuts he picked for his birthday dessert. A bit of a slap in the face after paying top dollar for brunch... Service is good. They need better recipes or something, but it's not worth what you're paying per person by any means right now. If you're looking for atmosphere in Midlothian, it's a lot cheaper to go nextdoor to Wilson's. Adding after reading the Porch Pour's response, but there was no 2nd glass of bubbly offered or received. The person with the shellfish allergy doesn't even drink, so he didn't even have the complimentary glass that was included in his meal price. Perhaps another table had the same issue.

This place is gorgeous! Service was lovely. Jane and Charlie were so wonderful. The special new year’s menu rivaled any downtown restaurant! Drinks were delicious! We were checked on by the owner, which we thought was such a personal touch. We hope to be back soon!

If i could leave 0 stars, i would. The Porch Pour itself is absolutely beautiful & might even be a great place for a local upscale date night; however, not a place for large parties and not a place i would even consider returning to. To make a reservation of over 10 people, we had to pay a $100 room rental fee. Annoying, but we paid it. It took an hour for me to receive one single bar drink. some people were on their second and third, and it took several reminders to receive mine. I asked for a kids grilled cheese and was told they i cannot order off the kids menu being an adult, understandable. so i asked them to just make me a grilled cheese and upcharge me for an adult plate. 30 minutes later, they came back and said they would not be willing to make me a grilled cheese as those are only made for children and that they even called the owner and they refused to be accommodating in any sort of way. Then, once we were done eating, i asked them to bring the cake out and they said it was going to be an additional $2 to eat the cake that i brought, in the restaurant. The $2 is not the issue. It’s the principal of the whole situation. As a group, we paid over $1000 to eat here, an additional $100 to have us all sit together, all while nickel and dimeing us and being the most unaccommodating place i have EVER been to. The waitress was nice, as was the host. When we tried speaking to the manager, she would not allow us to even get an entire sentence out before repeatedly saying their rules were on the website and they aren’t changing their rules. We were simply trying to express our frustrations, and she completely disregarded us and would not let us speak before saying “i don’t have to do this” and walked away. With this being and “upscale” restaurant, you would expect “upscale” service, and we received nothing close. I am not one to typically leave reviews, but this was not the way to celebrate our mom and grandmothers birthday. My best advice: Do better.

Worst experience. Not a place for large parties. Service was terrible. Food over priced. Brussel sprout's and hummus were good. And wait for it. After having to pay $100 room rental fee for parties over 10 they charge $2 to eat birthday cake in the restaurant. $2 not the Issue it’s the principle. Manager was rude would not let anyone speak. Anytime an accommodation was asked the answer was no. Owners said so. .. will NEVER go back.
