I will not be back. Food was not tasty. Husband's carna was to rubbery. Waiter took care of people at the bar more then checking on customers at table.

The service is always friendly and inviting. But their prices are a little bit too much for the portions you get.

Very kind employees. Overheard them chatting with someone who seemed like a regular and the server immediately knew what drinks to bring over.
Wonderful staff and a good range of food options for anyone to find something they want. The jalapeno starter was especially good.

First time at this location, food was really tasty. Drinks were good too. Service was amazing, Blanca did a great job. I ordered enchiladas, my boyfriend ordered a brisket tacos, love the way dishes were prepared, garnish and colors says lots about the way they care for presentation. Over all I did enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Great place to have a lunch. Hope they keep the keep up on flavor and good customer hospitality.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this situation was beyond horrible. We went out to dinner and mid appetizers I felt something in my mouth. I put my hand up to spit it out and out comes a 1 1/2 to 2in screw. I do NOT have any type of hardware in my mouth and was completely in utter shock! I mentioned for our waitress who immediately took said screw and said the manager would be out to speak to me. She came back and apologized and said it was from the onion chopper that the machine was old and the manager never approached our table. After dinner we had to ask if he was as coming out. He finally comes out and the interaction was just strange. Was more concerned with where it came from than if I was ok. Made excuses as to them not being able to locate where it came from and said this same situation happened 4yrs ago. Then said they had an AC guy out earlier and he was going to ask him. Then said had we been drinking he’d offer us some drinks. That itself was a strange remark. That was pretty much it and the waitress then says they were going to take the guac off our tab. Honestly by this point it should have been more than the guac but I was still in shock and over it. The manager then comes back and says that they haven’t closed out our bill so they will now be taking my meal off. And to ask for him when we come back for some free drinks. Given the severity of what I almost swallowed I was dumbfounded as to how he wasn’t more concerned. I told him it could have been a child or thank goodness I didn’t actually swallow it. But the icing on the cake.. was that a few hours later I was at home sick with food poisoning. I can not and will not be returning under any circumstances but hope they do a clean sweep to insure this does not happen again and have a better hygiene system to insure customers aren’t getting sick.

For me it has always been a pleasure to visit Veracruz Cafe for its excellent service and food. I have never had any problems with the service or the food, so it seems to me that this publication is a lie since these people were always treated well and I can corroborate this since I was there, but I have never heard of people who only go out into the world to make other people's lives miserable and are never satisfied with anything. From my point of view, have a good afternoon and thank you to the Veracruz Cafe workers.

Visited the Midlothian location after loving the cedar hill location for years, but was highly disappointed. The service was not good. The waiter acted like it was a problem serving us or maybe he was ready to go home. Food was not as flavorful as cedar hill location. We will stick with cedar hill location from here on out.

Food is okay ish. It’s not awful but it really does need more seasoning. Their black beans are good, but queso is lacking. My husband love the salsa
Our Togo food was made correctly and staff was great. Do recommend just ask for extra seasoning :)

Stopped here after work for dinner. The gentleman I was working with at a job site here in Texas had suggested it at lunch time. At lunch we didn't have enough time to stop in, so made the decision to come back for dinner. Wonderful service, great atmosphere and the food was fantastic.
