Chopped beef sandwich and a couple ribs for lunch today. Been driving by here for years but never stopped until today. The ribs are amazing smoked perfect, the chopped beef was very good moist and lean. The BBQ sauce is good not too spicy right amount of tang. The potato salad was just ok. Overall I would recommend. From a chef of 40 years.
I pulled in real quickly while on a trip with the wife, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pulled pork sandwich was hot and packed with flavor. Not only that, they had the golf tournament on the big tv. Folks were super nice and the restaurant perfect for a small Mom & Pop bbq joint.

In Wood county Texas and looking for a great little hole-in-the-wall barbecue place?Well this is it! Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and the food is amazing.And if you're looking for a great deal for a Friday special, you can't go wrong with the one half pound brisket burger and fries.But that's okay if you're more of a traditionalist and looking for the typical BBQ sides, cuz the fried okra and green beans are great and the potato salad has just the right tang.
