“Went on a Monday afternoon. Very busy. We arrived about 11:45. Didn’t get out of there until 1:10. It took 45 minutes to get our food and I was getting a bit hangry but then. I thought they would have brought out our side salads well before bringing out the full meal, but they brought it all out at the same time. I will say the food was amazing. My husband got Chicken fried steak, Mac and mashed pots. I had chicken fried chicken, green beans, mashed pots. Both had ranch on our salads. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our young one only wanted French fries. Probably the best CFC I’ve ever had. We got a fried apple pie to go and will eat it later. It was $56 after tip. I say that it was well worth every Penny spent. My only complaint is I wish the salads would have come out sometime during the 45 minutes while we waited for our meal. But I definitely see why this place was poppin.“
“Really cool little shop with homemade soaps & lotions, unique gift items, dishes. It has a really nice coffee bar with anything you could want to order & a case with all different types of homemade fudge! Definitely worth going to.“

“I had a great lunch today! My sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the cozy outdoor patio made it even better. Trey and Kelly were super friendly and checked in just the right amount. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed lunch with friends!“

“Food was good. Waitstaff not so much. Not very engaging of friendly. Just take the order and walk off while you’re still talking. Waitress was literally throwing menus on one table as customers were coming to sit down. Several people around us even commented how unprofessional that was. I’m probably the only one willing to speak out though. Small town folks want to be treated better than this.“

“We've been trying to find an excuse to come back! We stopped in town during our #coast2coast4hydrocephalus trip driving our 1920 Model T across country (in only 12 days and raisingover $31k for Hydrocephalus) and the hospitality and brisket sandwiches ..... well they knocked it out the park!“
