We visited around 1:45 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Boomer's was not crowded at that time. We had been told that Boomer's had great burgers and we were not disappointed! They were like a good ol' homemade hamburger with all the trimmings! We also ordered an order of onion rings and they were delicious as well. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. We will definitely eat there again.
What a wonderful roadside restaurant. When you go to an "authentic" cheeseburger joint this is what they are modeling it off of. The food was absolutely heaven. The double double cheeseburger was enormous and only to be matched by Dirty's on Guadalupe (if you know you know). The proprietors we're so incredibly friendly and happy to see us. They just made us feel at home and as if we we're regulars stopping in for our daily meal. My wife's chicken...
This place was fantastic! I had the fried catfish and my wife had the Chicken Fried Steak. For an appetizer we had the Boomer Fries. The food was amazing as was the service. I highly recommend this place. We are definitely going back.
