This little Gem is a small town Restaurant but I’ll tell you they literally have the BEST Cheese Enchiladas I’ve ever had! Very Friendly, clean and Comfortable! Love this place I will be back

We live close enough to visit regularly. Typically, we have an amazing visit. Food has always been delicious and rolls ...a family favorite. But tonight's visit was out of the norm. Food came out good... but we ordered an entree to go and asked for extra rolls to go. The waitress said ok, and brought up the extra rolls and walked off. I didn't realize the rolls were put in a dirty used ice bag ..until after the waitress walked off. It was very unusual and the bag was dirty. I thought this is very unusual... but ok I guess. Then I go to pay at the counter and when the cashier tells me the total, it sounded higher than I expected. So I reviewed the ticket and we were charged $1 for each roll. (...the rolls that were given to us in a used, dirty ice bag-pictures attached). I asked the cashier as I was not told the rolls were $1 per roll and I dont believe i have ever been charged to take a few rolls home. She confirmed the $1 charge per roll...and although I was a bit frustrated that the charge was not communicated to me by the waitress when I originally asked ...i paid the bill. Left the restaurant not as happy as we usually are. Then once home, my son ate his to-go order with a few of the rolls. He said the rolls were not good at all and not fresh. Some of the rolls looked like they had been picked off of as seen in pictures. This was not what we usually experience at NYH, but very disappointed in several things tonight.

EVERYTIME MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF TRAVEL TO FORT WORTH WE STOP TO EAT WESTHER COMING OR GOING THE RESTAURANT ON THE HILL AT NEW YORK HILL. IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET AMAZING FOOD, SERVICE, AND DON'T FORGET THE HOMEMADE ROLLS TO GO.
