One of the best coffee shops in the RGV. They have been around for ever and built such a great brand for the community. I would highly recommend giving them a taste! Also eye spy a brisket truck behind the coffee shop.

As much as I love Jitterz, today was not the day. I love their coffee and espresso since it’s strong enough to give me the daily kick and smooth enough to prevent the secondary heartburn I usually experience from other coffee shops. The young lady taking my order today was helpful in providing new recommendations for me, which k really enjoyed.
The atmosphere was a 0 out of 10. I don’t remember the noise level ever being what it was today. I enjoy coffee shops as a location to study for my board exam and when my boyfriend asked if I wanted to join him at Jitterz so I could study while he worked on a couple of work projects I was all for it since I had never studied at Jitterz. Little did I know this was the worst decision I made. We quickly found a sitting area near their large window, it was a semi packed with a mix of casual groups and other groups who were diligently working/studying. Unfortunately the area we decided to sit in was the loudest. The first loud group we encountered was tolerable since I had my earphones. The second group was unbearable, and their noise level amplified every time a young male barista would approach their table. I hate for this review to sound like a fun-sucking review because it was not the intention. This is only for awareness for others who are looking for a quiet/moderate noise level atmosphere for work or studying. It could’ve been because I decided to utilize this area as a study space during the weekend as well. I will have to return during a weekday (which may be unlikely) to reassess my current experience.

My favorite coffee shop. They are always nice. They never burn the oat milk on a latte. They make pretty drinks. And the vibe is super chill. Nice outdoor patio to hang as well. Love hitting this place when Sanchez bbq is out back. That coffee/bbq combo is heaven.

Whenever I’m in Mission I stop and pick up a coffee and I’ve had nothing but great coffee and service. Today was a bad visit. I walked in, received no greeting or acknowledgment. On the contrary, I was met by an older man that gave bitter and mean vibes. He didn’t make time to talk to me at all but he was giving rude directions to his employees that had maybe just clocked in. Definitely won’t stop by anymore and to top it all off my coffee tasted watered down (no flavor). That just proved to me that he didn’t want to provide service and didn’t take any pride in his work. Talk about leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.
