Man this place HIT THE SPOT!!! Best tacos de bistek we've had since moving to the valley 3yrs ago. IDK what the seasoning is, but it's AMAZING. And the beans are LEGIT 👌🏽 Well worth the drive. And there's a huge fenced in beer garden area to let the kiddos run around.

The bistek tacos to go had good flavor, not soaked in oil like many other places I’ve had them before.

I really love the food and space for this taqueria! I got the panchos machos and my friends got a potato, a taco dog, and chicharron tacos. Everything was delicious! The space is comfy and there's inside and outside seating. Also - ask for a side of cheese sauce! You'll be glad you did!

Tortillas were a bit dry. Meat was decent. I got the tacos de bistec and a papa with meat. Didn't receive a spoon or fork for the papa so had to wait for that. Food was a bit cold as well. Environment is nice. Still ate the food and filled me up but taste was 3/5. Payed $17 for the tacos , small papa on a little plate and a can soda. Went because of fork it Instagram channel promoted them. Bit disappointed

We’ve driven past Tacos Mi Gente so many times on 107 and always talked about stopping and today we finally did. So glad we gave it a chance!

The food was amazing. We had the bisteak tacos and chicharrón tacos, and both were packed with flavor. The beans were seriously some of the best we’ve ever had super delicious. We also tried the Double P Papa, and wow… it was incredible. Every bite hit the spot.

The staff and owners were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can really tell they care about their food and their customers.

We’ll definitely be going back, and we 100% recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already. Trust us it’s worth the stop

Very great. I love it here, they have the best elote and the best tacos to ever exist. You can really tell they make the tacos with love. Very delicious and I like the area where you eat. They always have music playing and the lady that works there is always enthusiastic and you can tell she cares about her customers. Last time I went , they had a whole jenga set for the customers . 10/10

Looking for tacos in the valley and found a place on the Texas Monthly Top 50. I saw one review that mention comparing them to Torchy’s Tacos. I had to try since I’m from Austin. After eating here, the thought of comparing this place to Torches obviously came from someone that doesn’t know the difference between a store bought cold tortilla served in a taco and the greatness this place offers on a daily basis. The tacos de bistec, the salsa, and the complimentary beans that were given to you as part of this meal were on another level of awesomeness received rarely at any establishment. The last thing I was thinking of when I left was torchy’s tacos from Austin

everything tasted great! beans, tacos, and salsa were legit outstanding.

After trying to find some good tacos I searched this place up saw good reviews. So I got curious and drove from weslaco to here (like a 40 ish minute drive). When I got here loved the atmosphere it was a fresh breeze not too cold. I order the chicharon tacos which I heard were the best and tried the classic bistec tacos which it was good put squeeze of lime and salt onions it was really good. Might been the best tacos I have had in the valley and tried the potato which was another good meal. I recommend this place for a hangout with friends and family and would be back again for those tacos
