Not the best carnitas in my life, but so far the best I've had in Mission/McAllen. The negative reviews here are just people bitching about the minutes in life. Place is great, food is great, and it isn't expensive. A pound of carnitas is 15 bucks, a half assed processed burger elsewhere is 10.

Service is always great, and the food is always delicious.

My husband was here in this area at a pawn shop for a while, my toddler needed to use the Bathroom so he took him in here, which they proceeded to be very rude and tell him he needs to buy something to use the bathroom. He ordered some tacos and salsa, they charge him $2 for the 2 small salsa cups he got. Ridiculous. Do better or at least pretend like u ur job to customers.

Amazing carnitas love how they had salsa serve stand so you can serve yourself as much as salsitas and choices, only thing we really wanted the handmade tortillas we got there and they had just finished but its okay we are still coming back and this time earlier so we can try the handmade tortillas 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

We ordered takeaway carnitas and tortillas for any extra sauce they charge you and they are less than half, the super cold tortillas from the day before break into pieces, the super cold carnitas were so hard. We have been customers but the last two times terrible service we have decided not to return again.

Tacos Carnitas Michoacan is a gem! Their Carnitas are absolutely delicious, with authentic Mexican flavors that stand out. The salsa is fantastic, and the environment is both clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. But most importantly, the flavor of their food is simply unbeatable. Highly recommended!

I was a frequent customer but we already decided not to return. The lady who runs the place is super rude every time we have gone, an out of place comment has to be said today for the second time I arrived at 6:07 and they did not want to serve me because they had already collected everything, on other occasions it had already happened, they are supposed to close at 8, my 5 year old daughter took a sweet from a glass cup that was on the counter and she told her that she was going to finish it in a super rude way, the same thing happened another time with the chopsticks when the girl only approached and had not taken anything, super rude with the sauces, they have served me very little I weigh and it is much less than a pound
The food is good but if you don't pay attention to the service people will continue to leave. 2 other people I know say exactly the same thing, the man inside I respect, always wants to fix things because even he realizes How the lady answers or says things
