I have never in my life ordered nachos and never been able to take some home for leftovers. Paid $24 for 10 chips…. I suggest you either change the price on those or at least give enough chips to make a full meal.. was my first and LAST time coming here. Thanks for ripping me off!

Recently purchased food and they do not follow their own checklist from their receipts. This would ensure that all items are included in a customer's order. People pay too much money to have poor to-go service.

Dinner on a Friday night. The food was good, but the service was slow. Sure, I get it…the place was packed. But how is it that other popular restaurants don’t have this problem? Do better Lupe, because in case you haven’t noticed…there are TONS of Mexican restaurants in southeast Texas.

This is my first review I’ve ever written, because I don’t want to be that person, but it was bad and frustrating. I put in a to go order online yesterday which was a Sunday night. Email confirmation noted food would be ready at 6:46pm, and I got there at 6:50pm to pick up my order. To-Go Parking lots were all full, so I park and go inside to get my order and it wasn’t ready, which is cool. 30 minutes goes by and still nothing. 40 minutes goes by and still nothing. At this point I’m ready to cancel my order and get a refund, but if I waited this long it should be coming. Didn’t receive my to go order until an hour later after the pick up time. Got back into my car close to 8:00pm, I was so ready to get out of there. Got home optimistically hoping everything was going to be correct and hot. Food was cold, flautas had so much oil on them, missing a side of beans, and missing the guacamole and sour cream for the flautas. What I thought was going to be relaxing Sunday night, ended up to be big headache.

Brunch time. Pancakes are so good, but they were cold and we had to wait 30 minutes for the food after ordering. Seems good is always late arriving. If it's cold, that tells me it must have sat for a while. We kept giving you chances but walk away frustrated every time.

Beef fajita quesadilla was greasy and flacid. Not tasty at all. Will not order that again. Good guac and Queso though!

I just picked up a to go order for 8-10 people. My only issue is the photos attached. The beans in the container were only half way and the queso was not filled to the top.

Ordered food for pickup for my dad’s birthday and food was still not ready 55 minutes after the time Lupe Tortilla’s missouri city location told me to arrive. I stood by the bar for 50 minutes as one employee suggested I cancel my order.

I ordered online for in-store pickup, but the service was much slower than expected, and we had to wait well past our scheduled pick-up time.
When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed by the fajitas. The meat looked gray, almost like it had been boiled, with no char or grill marks. The flavor was off too—sour, as if it had been marinated too long in lime juice.
The sides, including the rice, beans, salsa, and veggies, were fresh and tasted fine—nothing exceptional, but solid.
The beef nachos were made with ground beef, which was fine in taste, though the nachos weren’t as crispy as they should’ve been. This could have been due to the to-go packaging, but we’ve never had this issue at other places.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the wait time and the quality and price of the main dishes.

My buddy and I normally love coming here to enjoy the bar, but we were here on Saturday, and he unfortunately got food poisoning from the stuffed poblano chicken meal. When paying up to 20$ for a single meal, you would expect to not get sick from it. We were dissatisfied about this.
I personally enjoyed the nachos, they were 7/10. The guacamole could be a little better as well, maybe a little more salt, just didn’t have any flavor to it. Tastes like straight avocados. I don’t know if we will be coming back due to my friend’s situation, but that’s our experience.

Waited an hour for my takeout. When i finally got a hold of a manager they said it was because they ran out of refried beans! Why didn't they just ask me if i would like something different. The manager said he would make it up to me, as in get an hour of my life back? In the end he didn't do anything no comps or even a desert. 12/1/24 update: While Lupe wasn't able to provide a DeLorean for my 1 hour of missing time, they did retroactively provide customer satisfaction!
