Heard about this place, so I decided to try it out, for the first time on Sunday June 21st Father's Day of course. Was craving meatloaf, got in line moving quickly and service was awesome, no meatloaf, they had a catering order to fill and it consists of meatloaf. So I went with the baked chicken. I needed 3 orders, baked chicken wasn't ready, had to wait 7 minutes, no problem. End up waiting 30 minutes, but still ok, it's Father's Day. Got 3 baked...
Food was greatly seasoned candy yams , pork chops okra , and collar greens but the catfish and shrimp knocked it out the park seasoned very well . the only thing it was warm in the place
Food is pretty good. Business could be ran much better and more efficiently tho. The pickup service is terrible. You could easily walk in and get your order much quicker then ordering it beforehand and picking it up. They just seem very flustered, overwhelmed and disorganized in that department. Sometimes the pickup order door and area is not even being serviced. It's just sad to see a black business that you want to see succeed just not be ran as good as it could/should...
